Joe Person: Ickey is expected to be extended, Mays is someone we want to keep long term, TE, LB and OLB are our biggest needs heading into the offseason

Wouldn't put money on it being addressed next season (outside of finding a new backup)

They’re picking up Bryce’s fifth year; I’ve finally moved on from the depression phase to acceptance.

5. Acceptance
“It’s going to be okay.” (not “I’m okay with this”)
Emotional detachment and calm; coming to terms with the reality of the loss and beginning to move forward.

You can't have $50M QB play in a couple games a year to earn the a 50M/year long term deal.  Like the guy said in the video, not to long ago all we wanted Bryce to do was hand the ball off to Rico.  Bryce is on a VERY recent hot steak and all of a sudden now we want to give him a Josh Allen contract?

Y'all have got to be high.

He hasn't earned it, but I think a Bryce deal would look similar to the one Baker signed last (3 years, $100 million). I'm sure his agent would balk at that, and some team may trick themselves into more...but that's the top end IMO.

As for the OL, the draft is about to be REAL important for the big boys. Our backups have injury issues, and we're a year away from some decisions coming up on Lewis/Hunt/Moton as to whether to cut and save money or restructure. Wouldn't be mad seeing us draft a Center, OT, and OG in the first few rounds over the next 2 drafts.

Surprised TE is on the list after drafting Sanders and getting Evans. I mean sure they might want to upgrade Sanders, he showed so much promise at first but is obviously worse than Tremble especially blocking.

But yea no duh linebacker is the biggest need in the offseason.

I wonder how long the JT Sanders experiment will go. I know he went in the 4th for a reason, but at the time, I thought he was one of those classic prospects that fell and was a steal on day 3.

I’m not out on him, but he has flashed less this year than last and there are games where he seems non-existent.

Evans looks like the most promising long-term answer. Tremble will be here until his contract runs out. Sanders could be the new Ian Thomas, though the former has shown more flashes/promise than the latter.

Maybe Canales enjoys TE by committee though….i feel like that was the deal in TB and SEA.

The rams run TE by committee and 3 TE sets. This means Isiah Likely coming here.
