Fire Evero, he is pure trash!!!!

Recommended Posts

Teams figured out the formula going into the last quarter of the season.

over the past five games, I’d imagine we lead the league in 10+ play massive sustained drives which bled quarters

his argument would be “if we could get some good pass rushers, some rangy linebackers, upgrade at safety and get a third guy at CB, my defense will work.”

it’s the ole Shula defense

Good coaches do more with less.

Then they score quicker and we have more time to get a field goal. In that situation you need to know if they are going to score or not so you have to force it one way or the other. A sack is huge, but also a quick score let's you respond. Playing our coverage past first down markers is literally the worst of both yards you let them burn time and march up the field in increments. Coaching fail.

Huge fail. Literally with 2:37 left let Puka smoke you over the top for a 60 yard TD. Then you have the ball back with 2+ minutes and three timeouts and their defense hasn’t been able to stop you. Evero should be fired, and his family should be shamed for generations because of his disgusting failure. He should do the honorable thing and quit, at least I could respect that he acknowledges he is worthless that way. What a shameful performance.

If we blitzed and got beat I wouldn’t care as much. But that soft ass poo was atrocious

Even disguise the coverage, ANYTHING. Maybe horn going out made him play extra safe

Say what you want but even if you blitz Stafford on that drive the Rams just have more firepower......it's like bringing a knife to a gun fight

They played their asses off and talent won out today plan and simple

That is B,S. It was the Panthers game to lose and the moronic soft zone determined the loss.

He played the last drive as though the Rams had 30 seconds and no timeouts. Hell, they kept throwing it inbounds and still didn't use a single timeout.

He calls that pretty much whenever we need a game sealing defensive stop. We've been lucky to win the couple games we did in those situations, only thanks to forcing turnovers (e.g. Brown's sack fumble in the first Rams game and the Ransom interception in the first Bucs game).

If he blitzed and we got burned you guys would be killing him lol.  You can say that but it’s about results.

No, we wouldn't.  Because then you have 2 minutes to go down the field and score or get the field goal to win.  That's the point.  Playing wuss zone lets them drive down and run the clock out.  Then score and leave us with no time.  They felt no pressure because they watch tape and know Evero was going to do that and it's EZ mode for the MVP candidate, Superbowl winning champion Matt Stafford with one of the best receivers in the game and a good offense lol.   Evero has to go.

I'm gonna be the controversial guy here. I think evero is a brilliant defensive mind. Worthy of a head coaching gig. He been running defensr since before canales came to town and canales basically give him the keys saying hey it's all yours. That said you can't make a 5 star meal with gas station ingredients.. no derrick Brown no burns and a depleted defense lead to that horrible defense last year.

This year you get brown back and some young guys and your middle of the pack.. that can't be because evero doesn't know what he's doing. Give him some weapons where he doesn't have to blitz to simulate pressure and I think he's a top 10 defensive coach. Question the soft coverage and love of zone all you want but a lot of this defenses limitations are already baked into the lack of talent.

Roseboom, wallace and cherlius are also not world beaters.. nick scott I'm gonna say it is ass.. doesn't need to start next season period.

We lost in the playoffs, barely after being one of the bottom teams in the NFL for almost 10 years and y'all still try to cut everybody. Id rather add to the defense that was playing some really good football against an elite offense.  Westbrook says y'all trippin.

Evero is really good.  And our D will continue to get better.

Soft coverage isn't what lost us this game.

All teams blitz at some point.  Problem is his blitzes  are poorly designed and predictable which leads to no pressure   I don’t think he’s in the top 20 of defensive minded coaches.  After he got fired from Denver their defense became light years better   Can’t be predictable in the NFL and he’s very predictable

    • I used to think Juan was a Zod alt. Agree he's a great poster.
    • Hawks said nah we good and sent him to the shadow realm aka the Wizards. Cold blooded. I mean they're 2-2 in a series with a young up and coming Knicks team largely through 34 year old CJ McCollum. Even if they ultimately lose the series at least they are there and have something to build on. I think Hornets fans are just beaten down and lack the objectivity to assess the situation. They think we are going to get so much worse if and when we finally change gears. Worse how? We've already been a lottery team for years now. We've already been looking to win our first playoff series in about a quarter century. We already can't get past the play in and in failing to do so we have completely embarrassed ourselves twice looking like we don't even belong. Honestly there is absolutely no excuse for a team like the Magic to be more competitive and successful than us in the playoffs. Absolutely disgusting. But that's just me. I was fuging lit when we got the Hornets back in Charlotte but that is old old news. It's time for these boys to get into a playoff series. Enough is enough. If they can't do it for 2026-27 then they need to make wholesale changes regardless.
    • Not one single pick that is asking me why we drafted a guy in the first place. It was a guy we needed and/or a guy that had certain traits making them stand out. Best of all, I feel everyone we drafted are capable of stepping onto the field this year and have a meaningful role (even Kuwatch on special teams). Obviously, nothing is guaranteed but I'm not seeing any huge flags on guys because they're risky projects or massive overreaches.
