The interception was on Coker if you ask me.  I feel he hesitated a bit on the route.  The fourth down failures are just as much on Canales as Young.

There's always endless excuses.

Our UDFA WR had half our #1 overall QB's receiving yards.

I agree, but maybe if we set aside the hyperboles we were sold pre-draft, maybe some patience will pay off?

No because we traded the world for him and crippled the franchise.

He's a replacement level player.

I'm not making excuses.  Coker is an amazing player, and we are nowhere near the playoffs without him.  My point is that not every bad thing that happens on the offensive side of the ball is Bryce Young's fault.

The safety was bearing down on that play.  Bryce shouldn't have thrown it.  He was late.  As usual.

Any coach or player here pretty much exists solely to become a convenient scapegoat whenever necessary in order to prop up Bryce Young.

If Bryce had that kind of juice it might be one thing. But he doesn't by any means. It's baffling.

For a #1 overall and everything we gave up, we should be going into his 4th season with no doubt at all that he is our QB and can put the team on his back and is the main reason why we win. None of that is true.

Yep, pretty much. Most of Bryce's good games are relatively disappointing games from actually good QBs.

I mean, we're all pretty happy that Bryce went 21/40 for 265 a TD and a pick. That's not a good game by good QB standards but it's a pleasantly surprising game for Bryce.

exactly also wonder how game would have been if the rams didnt have so many penalty yards also

    • You bring up a good point on the stability part and i would agree that probably will factor into it. But yes, Tepper does have a strong influence on who stays/goes but I still believe ultimately it'is Morgan, Tilis and Canales who will decide.
    • I can always count on yout to put things so delicately lol. I'm still not sold on the fact that Tepper will make them keep him if they don't see him as a long term answer.
    • holy poo... this thread inspired me to keep trying to guess passwords to various alts I've created over the years and I finally got in! I pretty much accepted my fate as a lurker for the last several months because I could not remember my password. I didn't realize that new users couldn't join either, that explains things. I have been around for years under several different monikers, through the good and bad. I too always find myself coming back here even with all of the new social media options for Panther fan engagement. It's simply nostalgic.   I do get extremely annoyed with the same 5-10 posters shitting on Bryce and complaining about everything. It's unfortunate that half of them are mods and that nobody new can join because now I pretty much just come on here and see Bryce / Panther slander. There is barely any positivity to be had. We all watch this team and hang on this forum for entertainment purposes only. We have no control or say in anything. I used to be such a crazy ass fan that would argue with strangers about Cam newton on the internet and at games. Now, as a father of 3, a business owner and someone with way gnarlier life problems - I like to watch football and talk about football as an escape. Not to bitch more. I really like the direction of the team and will root anyone in a Panthers jersey. I live down the street from the Rams practice facility, Matthew Stafford is currently coaching his daughters flag football team in the same program I coach my sons. I have two highly ranked Rams staff members sons on my team. The way we beat them and had them on the ropes in the playoffs has me feeling amazing, and you would think we have the next great thing in Bryce with the way they all speak of him. I'm gonna ride that high and be a delusional fan, I hope that huddle can stick around or get fixed and perhaps I will get back to posting more now that I can log in again. I will do my best to not get banned. Keep Pounding!
