I had open patella tendon surgery in 2023. I still cant run. They had to drill holes in my kneecap, then sew fiber cable into one end of my tendon, pull the cable through the holes in the kneecap and tie them off. Nasty, nasty injury. I still only have about 70/75% use of the leg.

The FA list is not very attractive if looking for a starter. There are a few older expensive players on it, and then it is a big dropoff.

But maybe they just need a chance.

Don't know, but either the draft just became a lot clearer, or the offseason became much murkier depending on the perspective.

I don't think it makes sense to splash on a FA LT.

Bring back BC or Yosh or draft someone in the 1st or 2nd, as the hope would be for Ickey to be ready to go for 2027 anyways and then you move someone to the right that year figuring Moton could be about done by then.

It's unfortunate but it actually sets up for a decent transition plan at RT in 2 years if we were to draft someone in the first 2 rounds this year and then get a discount on Ickey's extension because of the injury.

I’m sorry to hear this

Why would there be? You realize he only missed half a quarter right? He finished the game, and our best runs were behind him.

Pectoral injuries like Hunt can be problematic even if he finished the game. It can certainly affect performance.

In the Sunday locker room interview Hunt mentioned he was getting another MRI but didn’t seem worried about it.

Sorry to hear that... but it does put LT as a priority. Sounds like it could even be career ending.

I tore my patellar tendon in high school. After the MRI, doctor said he would much rather it be a torn ACL and I had to have surgery THAT NIGHT so scar tissue wouldn’t form.

I didn’t have the worlds best doctors and rehab like NFL teams do, but that knee still gives me issues today. It’s a tough one to come back from. It’ll be a long road back, so let’s all hope for the best. 💙

As impatient as we are, there is something to be said for consistency.  Without good edges, a nickel/s who can cover deep, or good LBs, we improved a lot.

Some of the coverages were based on personnel. Dont forget how well Jackson has played here.  Thornton.  Smith-Wade.  I think we are a year away from seeing what it is supposed to look like--and I will judge then.  Yes, I would have been much more aggressive down the stretch with the season on the line--but I don't know more than that.

Though the scheme isn’t my fave and still very passive, I do agree about seeing it with a full arsenal this disposal. A true alpha at ILB, another edge opposite Scourton and one more dominating force on the DL to help out Brown and I think we see better results.

We’ve spent three years loading Bryce up and surrounding him, we’re almost there with the D.
