Robert Hunt Torn Pectoral??

As alarming as that thing a football player just said was, he came back and played the second half, and that was impressive considering what he went through.

Am I the only one that missed this???? Anyone have any word on the actual severity of that injury?

I knew that he left the game for a while but didnt know why!! I hope it isn't serious

During the game they said it was a pectoral injury but didn't think it was torn since he came back in. 

Haven't heard anything else about it.

You’re probably correct.

this might not necessarily require surgery.

I guess they will have to draft a Olineman for sure now.  Tucked in between defensive needs. Obviously, Hunts long term health is going to be a problem.

I said all along if he is not actually healthy he didn't need to play. Way too much invested in this OL to be bringing guys out early when they aren't actually healed.

believe the pec injury is on the opposite side of the bicep injury. but yes, 2 weeks of practice doesn't prepare your body for live NFL contact after being out for a few months

These injuries are not a good sign. Eventually we had to make a move off having 2 expensive guards it's not ideal with Ickey going down but what are Hunts contract outs?

Not going anywhere in '26, but 2027 is the out spot. Save 14 mil in '27, 18 mil in '28. 

The contracts are big, but there's outs with him and Lewis both, with Lewis's out starting this year if you want to save 9 mil (but, no). Tillis did his job on these and gave flexibility. Biggest issue right now is who are we replacing them with, which means the '26 and '27 drafts better have some legit OL picks.

So let's add this up, Ickey out for a year+, Horn suffered another concussion (remember Luke?) and our RG who was rushed back from injury sustains another significant one. 

Yay, pointless playoff game!  Anyone who was high enough to think this team had ANY sort of shot to put a run together needs to go to NA.
