Is Chubba on the Trading Block?

Not sure what he would be worth, Maybe a 2nd/3rd round pick.  Carolina has 4 RB's on the roster and have shown interest in Kaelon Black, Emmet Johnson, and Adam Randall.  Chubba didnt have a great year, mostly because of Dowdle but Carolina did take the ball out of Chubbas hands and gave it Dowdle.  Is there a confidence issue in Chubba?  If Brooks is 100% they are gonna want to give him the ball.  Chubba may be watching from the sideline again.

I appreciate the optimism but there's no way in hell anyone is going to give us a 2nd or a 3rd. We'd legitimately be lucky to get a 5th.

Logically it really makes no sense to move him this season anyways. We do know he is a high character guy and should be extra motivated to bounce back from last season. See how it goes and revisit next year.

false rumor, he's a team leader.

No clue what he is worth.....Rico came off the streets for 2.5million and put him to #2 for weeks. I doubt a team would give much more than a late rounder. Like Frank said above, 5th would be tops and very lucky.

He's got a fair contract and is well liked by players, coaches, and FO. No reason to trade.

Not a chance. We'd be all in on a guy trying to come back from back to back ACLs both returning to form ("form" that's not yet proven at the NFL level) and staying healthy for the first time in years. Bruce is barely serviceable with a dominant running game to lean in. It'd be ugly if... wait a minute... I just convinced myself we need to trade Chuba. LOL

Chubba roster spot is almost guaranteed on this team IMO.....our RB room sans Dowdle at this point is bottom of the league in talent. DM doing his due diligence in wanting to possible upgrade a position of weakness in this years draft.

Emmet Johnson behind our Online would be exciting, but wouldn't be willing to spend a 2nd to get him. Of goes 3 maybe even 4th you jump all over the value.

Anyone who thinks AJ Dillon will be a contribution to the room is smoking PCP on the reg. Etienne possibly contributes and Brooks is a BIG?

So, Chubba is safe from being on the block, good clickbate though OP!

I doubt we'd be able to, but RB is a pretty tricky spot for us.  We're not in position to invest highly, but it would be smart to keep grabbing a guy late to see who sticks.  Never know who finds the Kyren/Chase B/Bucky type.

Chuba played in 15 games last season and only accounted for 500ish yards.

Brooks is coming off two major injuries.

And if we're be honest, Etienne looked like a poor man's Sean Tucker.

AJ Dillon is likely washed.

I mean everyone has a price. If somebody came around offering a 2 or 3 I think they would take it and draft a RB day 2. Between whoever that is, Brooks, Dillon, and Etienne somebody is likely to step up. If not, that’s on the coaching staff.

Chubba is a decent back, but he’s a borderline starter.
