QUICK reads.  No false first steps.  He beats the OL to the spot.

I see it too when watching the tape. Kuwatch seems to really diagnose the play well.

A traits pick.  Dude has one season of starting.  He diagnoses plays well based off his video, but I'm not seeing NFL speed or physicality.  If he makes the team, it will have to be STs and then progress from there.

He does have speed. 21+ top end speed is very fast for a linebacker and his 3 cone drill time is considered excellent, close to elite.

He could be one of those guys that comes out of nowhere for us. He's got a seat at the table now and a paid gig for summer camp. He'll figure heavy into special teams and maybe get some time in the linebackers room learning from some of the best.

He's got potential and he's got an opportunity. I hope it all pans out great for him and us.

Starting at 1:55 in this video is Kuwatch. He looked skinny on his reel but damn this guy is buff. Looks like a linebacker. I am even more stoked about him now. Though he's a draft pick I believe he's going to surprise us.

I'm excited. I love situations like this when you could potentially find a diamond in the rough on the cheap. And you know guys like this are gonna put in the work and desire way more than others to be great.

See, the 7th round is where you take a guy like this. A developmental athlete with question marks, but also potential. I just don't like when teams draft guys like this in the 2nd-3rd round. See: Wallace, Trevin.

In the 6th or 7th round this makes a lot of sense. We could damn sure use an unexpected hit at ILB.
