So David Moore is making the 53?!?!

Metchie is making the team because of Bryce, they shouldn't be giving on Horn this soon and Tremayne is just better than Moore.  In fact all three are.

I haven't seen a bit of evidence that Tremayne or any of them are better.

If they keep Tremayne and Metchie, it will be because they are younger, not better.

1. TMAC

2. Coker

3. Brazzel-Dazzel

4. XL

5. Tremaine

6. Metchie

7. JHJR

I think you can keep David Moore on the PS, activate him for 4 games and decide if he is roster worthy at this point in his career.  Him not making the initial 53 is not a huge risk since he is a vested veteran.  JHJR or Tremaine would be snatched up on waivers. I still think that XL may be traded and we keep 4 TE's unless we go light at OL

David Moore can play all the WR positions he's absolutely a lock to make the 53 based on that and his special team value. I think you have 1 spot open between Horn, Metchie, Tremayne and Chisena. I'd have to give the edge to Tremayne as I think he brings the most overall value as a WR and a special team player due to his size and speed. I'd like to find a spot for Horn, but this room is really crowded at the moment to have a guy who can only play the slot WR spot and be a kick and punt returner.

Special teams usefulness, which is pretty much what I would expect out of WR 5/6. Gonna be interesting to figure out who gets cut/practice squaded between Horn, Metchie, and Tremayne).

Gotta figure TMac, Cokehead, XL, and Brazzell are locks. If Moore is kept on for special teams, probably means only 1 out of Horn, Metchie, and Tremayne make the roster. I personally would give Tremayne the spot, as I would be shocked if he makes it to our practice squad without being claimed by another team.

Its crazy, yall want to give up on Horn after 1 season for a washed up journeyman wr.

Is it? He was a 6th round pick and didn't play special team.

If Horn have the fortunate to become a washed up journeyman, he will have exceeded his draft position.

David Moore is 31 years old and averages 352 yards per season at peak form. I really doubt we would have to concern ourselves with someone swiping him off our practice squad.

I got no issue for him on PS, but what if one of the UDFA goes Cruz/Smith route.....its ok to dump that lotto ticket over a "never-was" like Moore??

Im shock that more than huddler came out in defense of Moore.....

Just...meh. I don't believe Moore is going to make the squad due to our youth movement, and I was never enthused by another seeming Huddle legend in diminutive Horn. Tremayne? Whatever. Not for him or against him. I do remember that Metchie and Bryce had plenty of chemistry, and that Metchie was a second round pick. I am still kinda thinking that his illness was the major reason he hasn't caught on, but he's an upgrade over Horn at the very least, and probably Tremayne and Moore also but strictly as a receiver. Metchie doesn't offer anything on special teams. We'll see how it shakes out, but I won't lose sleep over any of them. I don't think any of them will be in line to get much playing time except for maybe Tremayne on special teams.

I'm of the viewpoint that in no way should David Moore push out any younger up and coming receivers no matter how much people may talk up his value on special teams.
