What are your Superbowl food plans?

Here's something I've done in the past that's a twist on traditional Super Bowl food: buffalo chicken wantons.

Grill/bake/boil chicken until it's almost finished. Pull the chicken apart and mix with buffalo sauce, cream cheese/ranch, shredded cheese. Put said mix into wonton wrappers and close tightly. brush with water/egg mixture and bread with breadcrumbs. Deep fry for about 5 minutes. Pretty delicious I must say.

Looking for ideas. Heading to a party at a friend's house. Need to bring a foodage.

Was thinking maybe baked potato skins with cheese, bacon, chives, etc.

Sausage Balls.

1 lb Neese (HOT) breakfast sausage.

3 cups Biscuit baking mix.

10oz or more sharp cheddar cheese.

Mix well, roll into balls, and bake in the oven.

This will be the first Super Bowl in memory that I'm not going to watch.  Sorry, but America has already lost.  Of the teams in the playoff race, this is the worst possible outcome.  There's no way for me to watch this game and not be pissed about the outcome, so why bother.  Might go see a movie with the wife.  Should be a good night to do it.  Probably have the theater to ourselves.

So... uh, I'll go with movie theater popcorn.

i grilled steaks for the first time in forever a couple weeks ago for the cardinals game. a couple of t-bones from harris teeter, marinated for a few hours in oil and seasoning, medium rare, with baked potatoes cooked in foil for an hour. a couple of IPAs and a bottle of makers… phenomenal.

i will probably repeat for the superbowl.

    • Umm yeah. When did he get it done at the right time? I seem to remember a 4-6 finish and needing Atlanta to win our way into the playoffs but whatever.
    • I mean....no lies detected. See above. We have traded a fortune to draft a guy #1 overall that people have lowered standards for to the point that not playing like Jimmy Clausen and looking like a poor man's Kyle Allen occasionally is worthy of a contract extension making him one of the highest paid QB's in the league. That is cope on steroids.
    • summary: "let's talk about your draft, what did you think about Freeling" Dan:   guys with a huge upside, can come in and compete to start.  High ceiling "he does what for your offense?" Dan:   it's hard to find left tackles, guys that big and athletic.  We have Icky coming off an injury, we signed Walker, I believe your offensive line can never be too strong.  If we're going to win the game, it's gotta be up front on both sides of the ball, so we make a point of emphasis on making both sides of the front as strong as possible. "how many mocks did you see Monro falling to you." Not many times, left tackles are gonna go a lot earlier than when we took him.  We want to add the best player, in free agency or the draft"  that's our philosophy, to get the best players possible. "Hunter and Brazzell." Dan:  we followed the board.  Lee we felt very highly of him , super strong.  Brazzel so flexible and loose, can open the verticle.  Will Lee we held in high regard. "you take a look at your receiver room, Coker, my goodness, your offensive rookie of the year in Tet.  Lost Rico, but there is Jonathan Brooks. " Brooks coming off two knee injuries, he worked his way back, looking great, fully healthy, will help in pass and run game.  Icky, not sure when he's coming back but we're excited about both "plan on extending Bryce" we'll keep talking, will keep internally.  We believe in him, has such a great grasp of Canales and offense, has improved every year. "he's clearly come back from the benching, the arrow is trending up, where does he feel" Bryce knows where we stand with him, when and if a deal gets done, he knows we feel great with him, we'll get something done at the right time. "if this a prove it situation?" everyone in the building has to prove it, has to earn it. Tmac was everything we wanted, his work ethic, he's so big and talented, but he puts the work in, and is a great teammate. "your level of expectation, the building's level of expectation for 2026 "our goal is to win the division every year, we know we have to earn it.  we have to put the work in every day, proving it on the practice field, and our  guys know that." "schedule" we haven't opened at home in 2 or 3 years.  We love prime time games, hope we get some "
