Stewy about to do some thangs in the music industry.

Stew and his wife bought a media company in Charlotte and moved backed here "for good" about a month ago when the Giants told him they wouldn't pick up his option. Heavily involved with promoting music for kids in the community and will use the media platform to help promote his cause. Glad to have him back doing good things around here.

The guy had a chance to play football at the highest level of the sport and excelled. He's an accomplished musician. He's got a great start on a family. Excellent fellow in the community. All-around nice guy.

Here's hoping that everything else from here on out will be a success for him, too.

He needs a music video featuring brutal stiff arms. Now THAT was entertainment.

When we are subjected to Rhonde Barber's inane rambling and inability to mask his glee when the Panthers are doing bad during the seemingly never-ending times he covers Panthers games, the place my mind inevitably goes is to the 2008 MNF game when J-Stew as a rookie stiff armed him into the 7th level of hell.

Good dude but it's over for him. He can sit back and count his money or coach or do whatever he wants to at this point. Those guys need a QB and a lot of Oline help before next year begins.

Thanks again Marty! (Where running backs go to tell Bill Gates to sit the fug down) Love to be CMC!

    • No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad
    • I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.
    • Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible. Speaking of backup QB's, Raiders may need one. https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-qb-aidan-o-connell-suffered-fractured-wrist-in-preseason-finale-expected-to-be-out-6-8-weeks
