What do you think after seeing Cam throw yesterday?

Yeh, I know... it’s one day and it’s TC and Cam is untouchable right now.

But after seeing Cam throw that 40 yarder to Samuel are you feeling like he could finally be healthy or do you need to see more?

Personally I’m not getting too excited right now. It was nice to see him throw more than 10 yards but I’m wondering if he can survive the 16 game season. Guess only time will tell.

Samuel will often be open with a step on his man Csm connecting consistently makes us elite imo with CMC doing what he did last year and DJ just a little better tbh. Curtis is a consistent big play can Cam connect all season is all I think when I see that if so prepare for a show a lot of dancing and talking from the offense number One in particular.

You pretty much summed it up.

I'm  thrilled to see that he is as good health wise, as he says he is.

As with shoulder injuries, they take awhile to heal, and can linger.

So at this point, I pray that it's all behind him now.  We shall see in the weeks and months to come.

Excellent way to start camp.

the shoulder can fatigue and develop more scar tissue.  It will never be 100% again, and with Cam's accuracy when it was 100%, I am hoping that it has a positive impact--for example, Cam was waiting to see if the WR could break open longer and would attempt to make up the timing issues with arm strength--the ball sailed on him a lot.  Maybe--just maybe--he will have to anticipate more, throw sooner, causing him to be more accurate because he needs less velocity.   Hope that makes sense--but I saw it work for our QB in college, fwiw.

    • One of his handful of good games... If he can ever get to a consistently high level, then he'd change minds. As it is... Meh.
    • People are also jumping to the conclusion that Darnold would have figured it out here. I very much disagree. He needed a place where he could be a backup for a while with no pressure. So all the pining over him was pointless. Highly unlikely he would do anything but continue to fail had he stayed here. The one that got away was Baker. He was not as bad as he seemed here. He was always a good player but we were a two bit, middle of the road college program grasping at straws. Had we invested the time in Baker that we have done for Bryce, history would have been quite a bit different. To what end, who knows? Doesn't matter. There are a million hindsight stories that are very unkind to this franchise. There is no one that is more significant than the other. It is what it is.
    • He’s a serviceable starter for us that doesn’t cost much. The reason he doesn’t cost much is that he has flaws, one of which appears to be catching the ball.  It would be good to have a better corner opposite JC but he’s not at the top of the list when it comes to people we need to upgrade.
