This years Pats defense is one of the best ever

Recommended Posts

- Less than 7 ppg allowed

-18 ints to 1 td pass

-have allowed 3 tds on 91 drives

-dating back to the rams SB have allowed 30 points in their past 8 games (!!)

Yes they've faced trash teams they have destroyed those trash teams, which is what good defenses do. The 2000 ravens didnt play a murderers row either. Holy poo I am so jelly of NE.

Jets twice, bills, dolphins, skins, giants, and the steelers.

12-32 combined record. If you take the bills out, you get a whopping 7-31...

Ouch

And clearly that Steeles offense, even with Ben, has been one of the worst in the league.

What they're doing on defense is unprecedented for sure, but holy fuging poo what a pathetic schedule thus far

Wait until the play an NFL offense and we’ll see... It’s actually a complete fuging joke and a mockery of the sport the schedule they’ve had so far. Never in my life have I seen any stretch so easy for a team.

This is what was being talked about on NFL radio and one of the guys was asked If the Pats D really that good or is it good because of playing against bad teams and he answered "Their defense is good because the Pats were playing bad teams".

My gosh i hate the patriots so much!!!!  Really hate them!  It ticks me off that they are pretty much always making the playoffs due to the teams they play twice a year as pointed out by others.  Come on...If the panthers had to play Bills, Jets and Dolphins every year we'd be golden!!  Having said that yes I admit the patriots are still a great team, they got their Bleep together!  Brady is KING at throwing the ball hitting his WR in stride!  Still hate him tho!

    • I was playing around with the ESPN playoff predictor and it shows if 49ers and Rams finish with same record, the Rams hold the tiebreaker.
    • This is my thinking as well. Seattle played as good as they could on defense and Panthers still had a chance until those back to back turnovers.  I don't think the Rams played particularly well in their game against us, alot things went our way in order to win.  Someone pointed out the Rams were bad on the east coast road games and Seattle has been the better road team but they just fought a hard contested game against the Panthers, and now they travel to San Fran this week for their biggest game of the season to determine the division and if they are the overall #1 seed in the NFC or will be traveling for the Wildcard weekend.  If they lose they then travel back cross the country to play a team they've just beaten two weeks ago, not saying they won't be favored against the Panthers but the energy of hosting our first playoff game in 10 years along with the get back effect of having just lost to this team could be huge.
    • I don’t know about shadowing and all that, but according to this, whatever we are doing is working
