My guess is Tepper already has the Foundry property secured. I’ve also heard rumors that pipe and foundry has Purchased new property for relocation in the ashboro area.

Their management has probably just been sitting on it since B of A was built, knowing that eventually the Panthers or a related party would come calling. Tepper has by far the deepest pockets around and can realize the most value for it, so win win.

It's possible the land needs big money to clean it up from hazmat related issues. Steel manufacturing isn't clean and 100 years ago hazmat was often simply dumped on site. That would explain why no condo complexes are there now.

Oh, he made the call to trot Ron and Marty out again, so you are correct, not much he can do at this point other than realize that he made another mistake.

Tepper has already started getting on my bad side requesting public funding barely into his 2nd year here, not only by trying to lower the value of BOA, but also to build another stadium....that will never sit right with me....then he brings back the fantastic duo?

Yea, gonna need to see more than a Panther at midfield, and a lot of words.

Good point. I hadn’t even thought about hazmat considerations and with it having been there for so long I could see how there might be significant considerations there.

Just make the current stadium a nationwide sexual harassment and sensitivity training conference center. Keep the statue in his honor.

Can’t wait until the dome is built. It’ll be nice to see a game in the ac during the hot months, and in some warmth during the cold.

Hoping we get something similar to the Cowboys stadium and facility. Such a work of art

Agreed.... and I'd prefer not having our NFL team sharing a field with our soccer team. 

Maybe BOA turns also into bringing an MLB team to Charlotte too....not sure about sightlines if that works, but could help with that as well.

Probably so. Tepper is no fool and he knows that publicly mentioning his and the Panthers' interest in that property only increases the bargaining position of the current property owners.
