How long do you give this coaching staff?

I think Rhule gets some room.

But his college staff? I really don't like the overall feel of this staff.  It smells a lot like an easy and predictable mistake.  Where Rhule comes out and goes you know what....maybe I should of added an more NFL experienced bunch to try to get this show going.   So Rhule gets couple years.  But I think his coordinators get 2 max to prove themselves IMO.

I would like to say 3 years to show competence and ability to compete for a championship. At any point they start being ridiculous then that's when I would turn. From the little I have heard, they appear sound in knowledge and ability. They still have a hell of a learning curve ahead of them but I am hopeful on that they can pull this off.

I'm already over the preachy talk from Rhule. I'm not looking forward to having to sit through more of it.

Very very preachy was how I felt about the intro press conference as well.  Im trying to remain optimistic thought

(Bonus content:) When Rivera get his one and only winning season in Washington in 2021, people on here will lose their minds. It will be amusing. Enjoy.

lol what? I sincerely doubt he gets a winning season with Dwayne Haskins. He doesn't have Cam and Kuechly masking his ineptitude now. The skins do not have the talent to carry them despite of bad coaching.

    • Pretty sure that a QB contract payday is all the competition any QB in this league needs, I don't think a competent backup is going to make them play any harder when the current situation wouldn't warrant the contract extension yet anyways. Your opening point in this post is also the problem, "Bryce has shown signs of improving", but that's still all he's shown, and he's only showing that because of just how bad he was to start his career. If he played like last season from the beginning and never improved one bit, then I actually think more fans would be ready to move on from him, which is what's weird.  It's like going from one of the biggest draft busts of all time into the 25th best QB in the league over 3 years means he deserves a long term $40+ million a year contract extension. Improvement shouldn't be the goal when the result of said improvement is still bottom of the league levels.
    • Yeah, but we've seen him do it. Just not often. I think that's the reason for the taller WRs. Would likely be a problem finding someone like Jimmy Horn in the mess.
    • And the Rams, Seattle, Patriots, Green Bay, Jaguars and the Bills who all made the playoffs and in case you forgot, Seattle and the Patriots played in the SB. By any measure, that's pretty brutal.
