I think most of his sacks came from the DE spot.  He will be a stud, especially with Brown beside of him.

He's extremely young and still has time to bulk up . 

I know they play different positions but I'm sure you can remember how much stronger and thicker CMC appeared in his 2nd and 3rd season's compared to his rookie year. 

Typically it takes most  DEs about 3 years anyway to get the wheels turning. If you aren't getting top 5 pick DE draft wise you're going to have to tAke time to build him up .

And it's not like Burns wasn't productive I'm his rookie year. He had a decent number of sacks considering his playtime , plenty of pressures, and a fuging awesome TD.

Our Nik D last year was mostly a 4-3 with with Shaq over the slot in zone(hoping not to see this much anymore). Burns, Brown and KK can make the DL work.

They ran a 34, Ware and Millerbarw OLBs. Malik Jackson, and Wolf in the odd fronts. Nickel they were the edge rushers in regard to Miller and Ware.

He needs to put on a little weight and spend the entire year learning to be a full time WDE. I expect a solid transitional year from him. I am much more worried about the SDE position at this point.
