Rhule out coached today

It was bound to happen sometime. This was the first game that Rhule has been out coached.

100% so many boneheaded decisions. That’s alright though, most rookie HCs have games like this in the first few weeks. It took 7 for Rhule and against Payton nonetheless. Optimistic but that was a winnable game that we blew and the refs had a hand in.

I don’t think he was out coached.  I just simply think we lack the talent to execute a game plan against one of the best QBs and Coaches of all time.

I don't have an issue with the way we played. I don't have an issue with the coaching. We just got beat by a better football team. I can't be mad about that. This team is competing week in and week out and I honestly didn't expect that.

This roster just isn't where it needs to be yet but the future is bright.

There were some dumb plays, but quite a few times players on D were in position and failed to execute.

A couple of weird timeouts though.

Not sure we were out coached. More like we don't have enough pieces on D yet to stop Brees and Payton.

I’m not for or against Rhule, honestly don’t know how I feel about him yet, but how is the piss poor play by the defense Him being out coached, outside of Chinn and Burns the defense as a whole has been atrocious today.  Leading causes of the defensive woes are the usual suspects.

we have personel issues that are far bigger than any coaching mistakes today.

How you figure? The defense has been pretty bad today, a lot of missed tackles, a lot of guys trailing in coverage. Maybe taking them out of zone and more man but we really dont have enough talent on D to do that.
