Should we cut Shaq next year.

According to sports trac we have a potential out next year and it would free up a heavy contract. He's definitely our best LB though and there isn't someone to replace him. Thoughts?

No, but sometimes people don't look their best when others are playing poorly like Whitehead.  I think we need to draft Kuechly's replacement.

I’d like to, but no it would not be smart. You don’t replace someone you don’t have an answer for. We’ve done that over and over in the past, whether by cutting, not signing, or letting them walk and it doesn’t work out. Successful teams usually have a next man up before these kinds of moves but then again this concept might be beyond Hurney.

He may make it to next year, but he's 100% gone after that because of that cap number.  Wouldn't hurt my feelings if he's gone after this season though. I mean honestly, he's made...1 play this year? I don't remember hearing his name much at all.  He's maybe the 4th or 5th best player on THIS defense and will be making 14-16 million a year soon? Lol
