What are Clubs?

Think of Clubs as a niche communities within the Huddle. It allows members to create their own community and manage it themselves.

Where are Clubs?

You can get to the Club section of the Huddle from the main navigation bar of the Huddle. Or, go here

Why are Clubs?

Some members share common interests with others but not necessarily enough members to make an entire new forum. Clubs allow those groups to discuss things in a far more robust way than just a single thread.

Who are Clubs?

Any registered member can start a new Club. From there, it is up to that member to cultivate it.

How is Clubs?

Visit the Clubs section of the Huddle. From there you can join a club of interest or create one of your own.

Example: @therealmjl has started a Bourbon Club That seems to be doing quite well so far. This is a perfect niche for Clubs.

Making a Club:

Go to the Clubs area of the Huddle and click "Start a Club"

From there you have many options. You can make your club public, private, hidden, etc. All this is pretty self explanatory.

You can choose images for your club's icon and background.

You can create "Topics" think of Club topics as forums. These are the main categories of discussion in your club in which members can create their own threads under.

Play around with it, let me know if you have any questions.

    • To play devils' advocate for a minute, I'm not sure ANY big time DE signing is worth it long term.  The Giants signed Burns to a large contract and have gone 5-26 since. And yes I understand there are many variables that go into a win/loss number, the capital expended on him has been wasted so far. The Packers signed/traded for Parsons and they look to have the same record as last year and the defense actually locks a little weaker. I understand you get these players for the playoffs but still, so far, again, it has not been a wise allocation of capital. The Bengals brought in Hendrickson in 2021? and other than 2022, their defense has been in the bottom of the league ( all the while Burrows has been getting killed because of a bad o-line). So yeah, going with what you said about bringing in young, afforable, players does seem the best way to go. It's not nearly as fun or sexy though.
    • Unless Darnold goes full Darnold which is always a possibility I don't see us beating the Seahawks. The Bucs are in complete freefall though so it wouldn't be shocking to see them lose to the Dolphins. They're finding a way to lose every week.
