KK is a class act, injuries just got the best of him. I hope we resign him (at lower cost) like we did Charles Johnson. If not for the injuries, he was top 3 interior lineman.

Agreed.  There were times where it seemed he was actively making decisions that would only hurt the franchise long term.

I could see it happening, and there is a good chance he will sign for less and play well.  The "next" team always seems to get the good deal.

It was a good signing at the time. I mean we couldn't keep both. So Star was a big nose tackle whereas KK was developing into an elite interior pass rusher. In theory a NT is easier to replace.

I dont blame GMan for Star dropping in production. If flipside would have happened, we signed Star and KK continued to develop we would be just as pissed that we let a pass rushing DT go (which is infinitely more valuable).

That being said.. it is time to let him go.

That being said.. it is time to let him go. 

If I remember correctly, there was also talk of Star wanting out. I always though Star was more important than KK and the better player, but if he lacked the desire to stay in Carolina, it would make sense why we extended KK instead.

Trash. Him or Boston can go this offseason. Also, I think we should spend some decent money on a safety to pair with Chinn. Have you seen this FA safety class its insane. I would personally cut Boston and Burris and sign a stud.

I liked his play for the most part, but Im also a big Sam Franklin fan. Boston (thanks herniay) almost needs to be kept this year and then his deal is very cut-able. Chinn is the wildcard. I heard all the safety talk, not buying it. See how much this off-season changes him. I like him as a joker type. Honestly Safety is one of the few spots, thats a strength. I also think Rhule loves Burris, heard him say so a few times. Hes also a lair too...
