What was your first Hornets Game you attended?

I think mine was 1999. I remember Eddie Jones playing. Hated it when he was not longer a Hornet.

Being that I live in the northeast corner of North Carolina I didnt get to my first Hornets game till about 2001 or 2002 at the old coliseum. We lost to the Boston Celtics and i kept checking some short dude dressed up like the lucky charms leprechaun

have never been to the Hive.. need to once Covid is over

One of the first games..  Cant remember now which team... We ended up getting season tickets the second year and splitting the games with a couple in our neighborhood...  There wasnt anything in Charlotte more fun than a game at the Hive in the 80's....

I was at opening night.  Man, the Hive was so damn great back then.  Good times.

I cant really remember my first game but my earliest memory of the Hornets drafting JR Reid in 89

I was in school at UNCC...there were many of us that ushered at the old coliseum and we ended up doing it at the hive when the Hornets started up

Been a fan since 1994 but didn’t get to my first game until 2002

Game 3 of the playoffs 1st round elimination of Miami Heat.  Baron Davis and Jamal Mashburn led the way. The Hive was rocking.

1990 sometime mid season but I don't remember the team they played. I remember watching Kendal Gill go fuging off for one of his best games as a rookie. I was only 7.

Either 87 or 88 and they played either the Pacers or the Jazz.  I remember Malone having 50 something in one game and 32 or something at the half.

Inaugural season, we played the Heat.  Everyone hated Ronnie Siekley because he talked sh*t about Charlotte.  Went with my day and a friend and his dad.  We couldn't find the car after the game.

1993 went with a mentor  from my school he took me and another kid from school to a lot of games. I thought it was pretty cool he had a Mercedes convertible and going to those games really got me into the Hornets. My first game though was the all star game in 91 that was my first exposure to basketball won the tickets at school for perfect attendance.

Nov 28th 1992 vs Pacers

Dad moved to Charlotte for a job and was here in an apartment while my mom and I stayed in Florida to finish school to xmas break. We came up to look at houses and got to go to a game. 

It was electric.

Had turkey in the apt and watched a lot of MST3k
