Got 3 million at seasons end, not close to the 7-8 number and this contract is the same. Got a high backup number with no guarantees, must have crushed his ego. But I guess thats the going rate for 175 yards per game. Amazed Bill won 7 games with the QB, WR, OL, and TE play.

I believe that you have a poor grasp on the term cuck.

While you are looking up that, I suggest that you also research "simp" because that is what you're being for Cam Newton.

I would recommend that you look up the term "good ol' boy", but I'm sure you're already VERY familiar with it.

I agree that our defense was not very good at all and we basically played hoping to "bend but not break" the entire season.

I, like DaveThePanther2008, think that Brady would have fared about the same as Cam did in 2020 with the Pats.  As I said, maybe 9-7, 8-8?  Brady knew what the Pats were going to be and he made his exit.

I am not on here saying Cam is 2015 or prior Cam....he clearly isn't.  I am happy that he has found a place to play for another season and has another opportunity.  He gave up a lot for this franchise and I am pulling for him to have a good season.

Personally I thought the defense got better over the last 6-8 games.  Still not great, but they at least made the other team punt on a somewhat regular basis.  They were horrific in 2019, bad in 2020, maybe we can get to halfway decent in 2021 and good in 2022.

    • I think in all honestly, the final 2 games are carrying most of the weight in a lot of Bryce talk IMO.    During the window where he "blew it out of the water" window......were a lot of games where he was not above average.  AZ is largely one of those stat sheet games.   Where the stat sheet reflects QB play that didn't exist in the game.  That game was all Chuba.  Meh vs Dallas.  Meh vs Philly.  Meh vs Giants.  Probably average vs Tampa, Den, Saints.  Bryce made HUGE strides vs what he was.  We should be happy.   But when you start comparing him to the rest of the league.....people I think are going too far.  His best aspect in reality.....is his scrambling.  And that's probably not a great thing give his size.
    • Mays and Zavala looked lost in the Reich offense.  Granted Zalava was probably playing too soon due to injuries but he looked terrible.  This new staff seems to be doing well with our OL.  I also wonder if having two vets in Hunt and Lewis just made life that much easier on whoever was/is playing center.
    • What the Panthers should target in order (via free agency or via trade): 1. Julian Blackmon  2. Mike Hilton 3. Jaire Alexander 4. Jalen Ramsey
