Has any information been released of what he did? I thought he just said inappropriate things to women, not physically assault them, or am I wrong?

I think 1 claimed he forced a BJ, but the others were more along the lines of indecent exposure/harassment rather than assault/rape. Either way not good if true...

A forced BJ? Excuse my ignorance, but how in the fug do you force a woman into a BJ?

You are asking a question that has a deeper answer than a football forum can provide in an honest way.

Police open an investigation into a 20+ plaintif civil suit within its jurisdiction? Surprise or am I supposed to belive that it doesn't take 20+ legal accusations in Texas to get thr police's attention on a possible horrendous repeat criminal activity? This is a long ways from truly shedding light on everything. It's big but all of this still reeks from every angle. It just drips WTF?

I hope any victims get justice. I have no idea what that means right now. This particular action is hardly surprising given the scope of the allegations.

At some point there is going to be a list of facts but this is still not that point. Regardless, NFL radioactive. The only positive here is that it had zero to do with Carolina football.

Take it as either Watson’s people pushed the complaint so that the HPD/DA will push Buzbee for the info he says he withholding or one of his clients went around him. He said specifically he wasn’t going to give the HPD anything. Complainant is the key in their statement. It sounds like due diligence at this point more than anything else.

Frankly if I was these ladies or their advisors they should cut bait from this lawyer ASAP and find another one if their accusations have any merit. He has the potentially to complete blow this entire thing up.

He is, but it's not looking good.

Yeah Watson is done. Looks like he will be charged and if convinced will probably be done for a year at least. You can't just pay people off like before.

There are many masseuses singing praises about his character and saying that they don't believe this. This is a long way from settled, much less over. All the defense has to do is impugn this woman's character/story, and this whole thing can swiftly turn into a house of cards.

This is interesting as the lawyer for the plantiffs do not want the Houston Police department investigating this because of some riff between the lawyer and the police chief.  They wanted an independent investigation.

    • To kick this up, The Athletic has a really comprehensive piece out where pretty much all QB questions are addressed. It is worth seeing.  https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/7083539/2026/03/04/starting-quarterback-projections-free-agency-draft/?source=user_shared_article I’m putting something specific here but it should have a thread or something. It is an extensive exercise.  This is a dense write up with a lot of column inches used, about the Jets and Murray and Reich, all this stuff.. then it goes to backup QB and there is Dalton.  I am pasting that part: As for Dalton, Reich is installing the offense he was trying to run in Carolina in 2023 before he got fired, and Dalton was with the Panthers then; he’s an ideal option as a veteran backup to replace Taylor. Reich said this about Dalton in 2023: “The way he's throwing the football, the way he works through progressions, the way he handles the operation. … Since day one (when) he walked in the door, I'm like, 'This guy is starter-worthy.' You guys know I've said that all along. He's, in my opinion, one of the best 32 quarterbacks in the world.” ——— That’s true love lol. I never heard any of this. Pretty crazy I think, considering how the year went.   Anyway the dream is not dead. .
    • The Seahawks traded for wide receiver/returner Rashid Shaheed at the trade deadline. He proved to be a key acquisition. Shaheed returned a punt and a kickoff for touchdowns in the regular season and had a 95-yard kickoff return in the postseason. Shaheed, though, is scheduled for free agency. So, the 12 games he played, including the postseason, might be the extent of his time in Seattle. Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Shaheed and the Seahawks are not close to an extension, and the expectation is that the two-time Pro Bowler will hit free agency. Shaheed has 153 receptions for 2,243 yards and 12 touchdowns in his four-year career to go along with three punt return touchdowns and a kickoff return touchdown. He ranks 13th on PFT’s top-100 free agents. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/report-rashid-shaheed-appears-headed-to-free-agency
