If there ever was a draft to fix a bad O line this is it. I agree  I think we need to invest atleast 2 high round picks. Regardless, if they screw this up and we still have the same issues this season it will be a long time if i ever have real faith in this staff.

We have suffered since Gross retired. It seems every year that we have had a decent replacement we have done well or at least not sucked. If Sewell is there at 8 you run to give them your selection before you wake up and realize it is only a dream sequence. On the other hand you might love a QB who dropped. That could be a bigger risk than taken the sure thing in Sewell. Pitts is a stud no doubt. I can't say I would be upset with a stud left tackle or stud TE. I think Rhule will go LT.

Sewell needs some work 

 

Some may not think that he can play LT, but IDK. Rashawn Slater looks mighty good against Chase Young.

Don't get me wrong, I meant to say "or Slater" haha but enough of the projections, gimme a proven stud

8. Penei Sewell - OT-  Panthers lock in on their stud left tackle for the next decade. 

39. Trey Hill - C/G - Versatile guy that would start at guard this season, center next season. 

73. Richie Grant - S - Ball hawking safety that could likely start week 1. 

 

Here you have 3 players that would very possibly be available at the Panthers selection that would immediately start week 1. You can't ask for much more out of rounds 1-3. 

Honestly I love it

      Posting Just for laughs….or, maybe not    “The Carolina Panthers weren’t on the list of Deion Sanders’ preferred landing spots for his son Shedeur. But that didn’t stop CBS Sports writer Ryan Wilson from already projecting the University of Colorado star to the Queen City—and with next year’s No. 1 overall pick, no less. Wilson, in his “way-too-early” 2025 mock draft, explains that a new quarterback may be on the horizon if the Panthers finish with the league’s worst record for the second year in a row: If nothing else, using the betting odds means that, for the third straight year, the Panthers have the No. 1 overall pick. Hopefully first-year coach Dave Canales can get the most out of Bryce Young, but if that doesn’t happen … you’d have to imagine quarterback at No. 1 (for the second time in three drafts for Carolina) will be a talking point. And with that pick, Wilson sends Sanders to Carolina: Shedeur Sanders made huge strides in his first year as an FBS QB and he’ll be in the conversation with several other players to be the first quarterback drafted.       How short a leash will Young be on?

      If Young can't at least play average, then little QBs of the present and future might as well kiss dreams of being in the NFL "goodbye." Sure, there may be what people consider outliers,  like Russ and Murray, but Wilson and Murray aren't exactly little guys. Young is the test case.

      I really liked zona's draft too. It's a fair snap shot at a entertainment grade..   edit- raiders imo had a much better draft than the expert grade. I see lots of BPA and need filled.
