We traded for a QB and his name isn't Deshaun Watson.  Can we move on now?  This was unbearable even when the Panthers were being linked to him.  Now it's time to move on.  Yes, I know it's still the offseason, but some topics need to be put to rest.

Deshaun "Happy Ending" Watson would probably do better in Texas as I do believe the massage parlor scene would be more vast and stronger in the state of Texas. I don't know if he is innocent or guilty band don't give a damn anymore. All I care about is this team not giving up three first rounders and an impact player for him. He possible interest in slapping legit massage therapists and personal trainers with his weiner may have saved us from way overpaying for him thankfully. Of course I'm sure the tinderbox mafia isn't too happy as I believe most of them wanted to give up the entire franchise for him.

EXACTLY...

I think he should get "Tebowed" and have Watson, D. Watson, Deshaun Watson, etc changed to something like Bill Cosby.

There should've been a stickied thread for Watson stuff a while ago . No need to post every time something new in the legal stuff comes up unless it's news that everything got resolved and what happens next .

Now that we got Darnold this stuff needs to go in another forum until some sort of resolution happens. Either a general nfl news forum or tinderbox or both but not here!

Deshaun Watson is legit offseason news, and as some of you well know, this news and other NFL news is posted right here in this forum, and should be! It's arguably the biggest news of the offseason, and no one should have to go searching for it in another forum. Behave yourselves and take in the news, and there's no reason why it should even be considered for the sometimes train wreck that is the Tinderbox.

It's pretty simple: if you don't want to see the subject matter in a thread, don't open it, much less complain about it being in the traditional place for all NFL news during the offseason.

Texas law is literally written to allow massages with no draping if it’s mutually agreed upon by both parties.

The fact that they are now talking about "consensual" instances is probably the nail in the coffin for Watson. 

If this is his kink it isn't too hard of a logical leap to get to perving on or even assaulting at least a few of the women. 

I think that is the smoke that obscures the whole "dirty lawyer" narrative.

Guess we will see how bad this gets and how long he might have to be on the Exempt list. Big Ben slid through with these allegations(and worse) but that was also at a different time.

      Hello, soccer fans [crickets, tumbleweed flies by]. The World Cup kicks off in less than 2 weeks and, well, 🇺🇸USA USA USA🇺🇸 and all. We beat Senegal 3-2 yesterday in a tune-up friendly at BoA, with Christian Pulisic finally entering the scoring column.  How will we do in the World Cup once our tournament kicks off on the 12th? Well, there are 48 teams (assuming Iran is there) and it feels like one of two thing happens: we get grouped for the first time since '98, or we make it to the Round of 16 for the third time in the last four World Cups. I tried out the lottery for an Atlanta game and struck out, so yesterday was as World Cup as I'll get for in-person ($285/ticket for like Norway vs $39/ticket for USMNT right beforehand was a layup).  The U.S. has a travel-heavy schedule in group play, playing in LA, Seattle and LA. Real road warrior mentality being built. Glad the east coast gets worse kickoff times for a NA World Cup than a Qatar World Cup.

      Well, that's the thing. Drafting players only for their physical measurables as you are suggesting only really happened during 2024, and X unfortunately has become the poster child for that. To be clear, it's not necessarily about drafting RAS over skill, but RAS over NFL-readiness and/or a solid body of work. Lots of players show skill in college, but those skills don't necessarily translate to the NFL for a multitude of reasons. But, getting back to the main point, to be clear, I believe that our FO is still enamored with physical gifts (who wouldn't be?), but now they're letting Dr. Eric Eager's proprietary system--his "secret sauce" prioritize the players that the Panthers draft, and it seems like it weighs not only a solid body of work, relative to a college career of course, but consistent gradual improvement as evidenced by production pretty highly.

      Its a good article about how pathetically bad our past drafts ('23 and '24) have been. Building the team in '23 since we weren't ready yet and taking your qb in '24 made so much more sense in hindsight. Ladd McConkey over XL is pretty much a given but not sure it does as much to change Bryce's trajectory as the author suggests.  As bad as '23 and '24 drafts were, the '25 and '26 really give me hope.
