Panthers "focused in" on Pitts?

If we get Pitts, my expectations for Darnold will be higher. Pitts, Moore, Anderson, CMC should be a top offense in this league based on potential...

I was replying to a fan, but I do think Pitts is high on their radar, and I don’t think it’s unreasonable that he falls. 

Anything can happen. If he’s on the board, I think they seriously consider taking him.

Well I won't be throwing anything at the TV if we select Pitts.  He is going to cause problems for every team in the league.  If we have 2 of the biggest threats in the game (CMC and Pitts) our offense is going to be scary.

Atlanta isn't staying at 4. They don't want a QB and don't want to reach for something else. Some team like Denver, New England or Washington will make a godfather offer to go up and get Fields.

They have their 1st rounder from 2 years ago at LT Jonah Williams and they signed former Vikings RT Riley Reiff. There is a good chance they cave to Burrow and their fan base and take a WR or Kyle Pitts.

I definitely won't be upset adding Pitts as a talented guy, but I don't think he helps us in the way we need help in the short term.

I will say this, if Darnold can't get to 30 passing TD's with Moore, Anderson, Pitts and CMC.....we can just straight cut him after the 17th game as far as I am concerned.

Highly highly doubt we take a QB at 8, regardless of whom is there. My opinion is that we’re gonna roll the dice with Sam this year for better or worse and we are in a sweet spot to land the top talent at whatever non-QB position we want.

I believe that would be extremely foolish to pass on a QB there, if one drops. But, I am starting to anticipate some level of foolishness, unfortunately. Hopefully I end up being as pleased with the draft as I was last draft.
