There is a lot of chatter about Davis Mills after his pro day. And this is not what I would want to see for the future. The kid is smart (obviously, Stanford is a tough college) and watching his pro day on Path to the draft he was solid in the rain and wind. And if you didn't watch it, it was really raining. Not sprinkles. He also had a good leadership in his huddle (which is awesome to see) If he lasts to the 2nd round to us, do we take a chance on him? Don't think he will but who knows. Lord forbid, this kid sits behind TB for 2 years.

I think we keep taking fliers on the QB position until we have the answer. Last year, I wanted Teddy to be the answer for the sake of our franchise. I didn’t work out. I hope Sam Darnold is the answer..I see nothing wrong with picking him up in the 2nd or 3rd. Seattle went through QBs until they landed Russell Wilson (not saying Mills is Wilson).

Wouldn't surprise me in the least if we took a guy like Mills or Mond if one was available in the 3rd.

The first two picks should be for our O-line.  If he was there in the 3rd I'd would take a shot.

If he is there in the 3rd, I think there is a pretty good shot he will be on the Panthers board.

I'm positive we bring in another QB, whether it is pick or a UDFA

I forgot who I was listening to on Greeny last week or so, but whoever it was says that but for his injury, Mills would have been a high first round pick. That's apparently the type of talent he has.

People were saying that if Mills stayed another year at the college level he would have been a 1st round talent. Still not high on bruh. Think we shouldn't grab a QB unless its in 1st round or UDFA. But that's why im in here for free and not in the FO making big bucks.

He is pretty inconsistent but damn he looks like Luck or Manning sometimes.  Definitely has some developmental tools.  Hearing he could sneak into round 1.

Either take a QB in the first if a top QB drops or forget about it altogether and hope you were right about Teddy or Darnold.

If he is there in the 3rd I would be happy to watch them call his name as our pick. I don't think he makes it to the 4th. He needs to be developed and 2 years behind Darnold would give time for that to happen. A promising young QB in the stables would be nice to have.
