Let's hear them! Here is mine:

Carolina trades #8 to the eagles for #12, #37, next year second.

Eagles select one of Waddle/Smith/Fields

Panthers select Rashawn Slater, or Waddle depending on who is there.

But wait, the panther are not done, they leverage pick #37 and #73 and #113, to move back into the first round and select to everyone bain, Caleb Fairley.

It was said here first boys, buckle up.

If Pitts or Sewell are there, we take either one. If both are there, we take Pitts. I don't believe either one will be there.

If either Fields, Lance or both are there, we have an auction.

If none of those guys are there and Chase is still there, we take Chase. Otherwise, we trade down and get what draft capital we can get.

shock of the draft. Justin Fields goes #3 to SF.

Panthers try to trade back but no offer is good enough.  They draft a DB at #8.  60% of the board goes crazy because Slater and Lance are on the board.  20% loves it.  20% just doesn't really care.

    • Pretty sure that a QB contract payday is all the competition any QB in this league needs, I don't think a competent backup is going to make them play any harder when the current situation wouldn't warrant the contract extension yet anyways. Your opening point in this post is also the problem, "Bryce has shown signs of improving", but that's still all he's shown, and he's only showing that because of just how bad he was to start his career. If he played like last season from the beginning and never improved one bit, then I actually think more fans would be ready to move on from him, which is what's weird.  It's like going from one of the biggest draft busts of all time into the 25th best QB in the league over 3 years means he deserves a long term $40+ million a year contract extension. Improvement shouldn't be the goal when the result of said improvement is still bottom of the league levels.
    • Yeah, but we've seen him do it. Just not often. I think that's the reason for the taller WRs. Would likely be a problem finding someone like Jimmy Horn in the mess.
    • And the Rams, Seattle, Patriots, Green Bay, Jaguars and the Bills who all made the playoffs and in case you forgot, Seattle and the Patriots played in the SB. By any measure, that's pretty brutal.
