If Christensen actually ends up being a Gross level LT then we can shuffle LG and RG until we find serviceable dudes I guess. Can't have all stars at every position it's not realistic

I mean fug it, with how quickly we get the ball out, if Christensen just has to be serviceable at LT for it to work.

How often were Armah, Thomas and Manhertz on the field?

Right now he's TE2, but already a better blocker than Arnold so I suspect he'll be in a lot on obvious running downs. Arnold is your redzone TE though.

Tremble doesn’t have bad hands either, He is just not developed as much as a second rounder would be. He could develop into good pass catching TE if allowed to develop.

Not sure why folks on here would want pick Lance in the first as a developmental project but not on a third round TE.

Do you really think he can be that?

Lol that's a homer take. Christensen is a nice prospect but yes old for a college guy and short arms. Inside, I think he's fine to plus guy.

Still think they are looking for a guy to develop as a backup in 2021, and start in 2022.

Jordan, Yeboah, Mckitty, and Gray ALL where better TEs. Using a value asset to replace fuging Chris Manhentez.  Worst 3rd round pick in the draft.

Look at my avatar.

Tremble has more potential than Jordan and plays with way more fire.

I do like Yeboah a pure receiving TE though. McKitty did jack poo at two colleges.

Lol, we need OL, that would have been a great way to stock up. No one cares what you think here. We are stating what we think. How about you bring up a better idea? You actually think that a potential starting T or G/C is less valuable that using a 3rd to replace Manhertz? Maybe you buy that Elflein and Erving are solid OL n

Are you so certain that Dan Arnold is a legitimate full-time starter? I think Tremble has a ways to go, but I think it's worthwhile to gamble on the upside.

It is clear the personnel guys don't think OL is a dire need. Christiansen, Erving, Daley, Elflein, Miller, Moton, Scott. That's 7 guys that are really likely to make the roster for 5 starting spots. How many more are they going to realistically add? Who was going to be a sure starter over the best 5 of those 7 in the 80s?

There goes Mienerz, but hey, we got a new H-back!!!!

Dudes gonna be more than that eventually. Even just watching YouTube cut ups of all his receptions he’s got strong hands, leaps to make contested catches and some diving catches. He has a ton of talent.

    • Give me Anthony Hill Jr or give me death
    • We need a Sam Off Ball Backer to pair with Lloyd. Lloyd is a strong Interior Will especially in Pass Coverage- but that is also Trevin Wallace’s archetype. Need a Rozeboom style run stopper. Rodriguez and Allen fit that
    • There aren’t that many ways to screw Day 2 up.  That’d be them making an obvious reach, or selecting at one of the few positions that we are pretty solid at. Because as excited as we are for the growth and improvement this team is showing, it’s still not an overly talented or deep roster. Honestly, there aren’t really many positions I’d feel bad about. Feelings about Bryce aside (because we are not going to select a QB), it’s really RB (bad positional value) and that’s it. I guess OT too since we grabbed Freeling in Round 1.    While not as high on my wish list as other spots, you can justify WR or TE.     Interior offensive lineman who would likely take over an interior spot either this year (at center) or guard (next for cap casualty of Hunt or Lewis)? Fine by me.   Dlineman? Yes, that’s a highly rotational position and we have zero quality depth.    ILB? Yep, could stand for an upgrade over Wallace.    EDGE? Absolutely wouldn’t hate another option to spell Phillips, Scourton, and Princely.    FS?  Would love to add better coverage skill set to the backend of the defense. Moehrig and Ransom are great in run support but not as good deep. Adding a more traditional FS would allow us to mix and match/run some 3 safety sub packages and or a big nickel type look with a SS down near the line for better run support in possible pass downs.    CB? Could stand to get better at nickel.
