Eh I like this class and that’s great and all, but let’s see it when the pads are on and the cleats are laced up. Plus athleticism gives you a leg up, but it doesn’t make you a player.

True, but I like the bet that Rhule is placing on himself and his assistants, that they can coach and develop players and that's our ultimate competitive advantage.  That's what he's done at Temple and Baylor, and he did it with a roster last year that was on paper supposed to be drafting Lawrence this year.

Brown doesnt need to be athletic. that over rated for gaurds.  Can you move that other 300 pound man directly in front of you out of the way?

hes a dump truck that will plow a hole for our RBs. Cant ask for more than that where we got him.

Pass blocking exists.

I don't know what you are talking about. Our best guards were always very athletic. Our worst ones were not. It's the difference between Trai Turner and Duke Robinson

Yep not exactly a power block team, so he's the oddest pick but hey if you need a guy built for the heavy 6th lineman package, he's your guy. Can straight bulldoze a guy.

Think he is just a sub package guy at best unless he finds a way to get lean, find speed, and not lose the power. Not an easy task. Buy for a 6th meh let's role and see if he ever develops, if not, nothing lost.

Yeah that was a total homer post. Looks like the staff is hinging on him losing weight because he does have some skills but his weight cost him his RAS score. But those are the types of risks you take in the sixth round. He does have talent.

True but 4 years without giving up a sack in the SEC?  He has to have some athleticism.

Panthers landed six elite athletes.

Horn's score is completely insane.

Christensen's score indicates he could push to start at some point this season.

Deonte Brown is the most unathletic guy in the draft. Hopefully he loses weight.

If Tremble can catch, man, he is going to ball out

I heard someone on the NFL network, can't remember who, say if he can learn to catch consistently he will be a superstar.

Lol Duke Robinson had a higher RAS than Andrew Norwell. There’s more to being a successful guard than athleticism.

Just like a NT you have to move an immovable object. So long as he has a low center of gravity he will be ok.

If we can get 6 starters out of this draft class I consider it mission accomplished.

If we get 6 starters that would be on the level of Mickey Loomas and the saints best draft.
