Jets at Panthers Week 1 let's goooooo

More interested in watching the D vs the Jets than what Darnold does. What's odd is this is a new Jets staff so no real tape on them. So it will be interesting to see how our staff adapts and how our talent matches up after drafting all D in 2020, out 1st in 2021, and so many other adds this year on D via FA. no excuses vs last year. They better look at least average. That's the side that imo determine how far this team can go. They should curb stomp the Jets O.

Well you can't say the Panthers and even the league itself now aren't trying to give Sam a leg up on his transition from a bad situation to redemption and a fresh start. Hopefully he seizes this opportunity.

I don’t put much stock in that because this is a completely different org from top to bottom. We’ll see in several seasons what our history is for different situations.

Darnold has 3 years of experience Vs. a Zach Wilson that is being thrown in the fire after playing questionable competition at the college level. I think Sam HAS to win this game. and if he is outplayed by Zach the media will attack him.
