An outstanding production, on every level of professionalism you can think of.  Good to see some transparency from management.  The teamwork, from Tepper on down, in that war-room, was textbook perfect -- no ego trip from the owner, just standing by, injecting a few comments, but like a good general, trusting his officers.

Two things stood out: each time, before pulling the trigger on a pick, Fitterer went around the group, asking if they all were good with it.  Maybe for the show, but it speaks loudly about the participation and joint involvement.

Second, when Horn teared up on the field, fully realizing this was real, it was his mama he was callling, not his dad.  He knew what she had done for him, too.  Nice moment.

(And Rhule is as genuine, open, and real as they come.  I have a feeling his players are gonna give everything they've got for him.)

I think Joe was trying to stay out of the spotlight and let his son have his moment. Look at Jaycee's youtube channel, it showed more draft day reaction and you can tell he was happy. Also he was rocking panther gear when he didn't have to and don't forget he's a N.C native, so I'm sure he doesn't mind his son playing for his hometown team

Didn’t realize Joe was from NC. I will also have ego check out JC’s you tube channel.

Agree.  I was struck by how collaborative the process seemed with Fit seeking opinions from everyone in the room.  Of course, with the preparation they had done there was not likely to be any surprises.  Fitterer looks to be a great leader.  Did not see any ego.  A lot of teamwork.  Also agree with whoever said that he and Rhule appear to be very comfortable with each other.  Re Tepper-thought he looked like he wanted to be one of the guys....lol.

Very well done and a lot of fun to watch.

Loved very second. I just hope fitterer's son doesn't take up basketball lol 

But a great production and it was great to see how well our front office looked working together. Seems like they had a plan and stuck to it. Draft room was ran a lot smoother than you would probably expect from a lot of first year guys at their position.

It makes me wonder if the Panthers had developed a reputation in the league for taking negative points trades under our previous management, and teams were testing the waters to see if Fitterer would be similar.

In that same call he told her, "Look at daddy in all the Panthers gear."

He called his momma instead of his daddy because Joe Horn was there at the stadium with Jaycee.

      Ya'll better quit throwing shots at Zod. He'll come in here and ban everybody. I had a friend @prosource who was banned in 2015 because he said some very minor things about Zod being an ass to the posters on the main forum after starting the All-Pro one. He said he felt like another level is cool, but don't punch down on people that don't want All-Pro. (He did say that it wasn't going to last long anyways.🤔) I distinctly remember him calling and being like "dude, I got banned, my profile says I don't have access to the Huddle!") I feel like once Tepper came in and cut off all unofficial access to the team, Zod was going to be around less. The All-Pro board had really good photos, even in game stuff, and I remember seeing him behind a little fenced in area at Wofford for non team sanctioned press/photographers after Tepper bought the team. I knew then his ego wouldn't allow him to continue with past fervency and effort with that reduction in access. Dude was literally in the locker room when JR was owner.  I came over in 2011 immediately after finding out this place existed. I was super involved with the Charlotte forum, and fell off after its demise. I will never forget arguing Pep over Ryan Sims on that forum! Who is Ryan Sims some of you may ask? My answer is exactly!

      And not see him running free. Because has been free a lot more than he gets credit for.    Now what XL does with that when he does see the ball, is on him.
