Quick watch, nothing too informative but nice to be subject of an offseason for once.

Question for the huddle: Would Sam Darnold be an option for come back play of the year?  He did miss 4 games...  (probably not)

:25 to:37...my words exactly...lol

StunkwithDarnold or

SkunkwithPJ(20-0 vs Lions jsuk)

PJ Walker has a better chance at MVP...

lol.... Judging by WFT's QB situation for the last decade or two... I think it's your best bet to take the opposite advice of what comes out of that front office.... What an example you have provided.

“I spoke to a source in Washington about the possibility of the WFT trading with the Jets for QB Sam Darnold,” she wrote.

“I was simply told, ‘Don’t waste your time.’”

I think that unless Darnold is absolutely garbage, he will be here next year as well.

8-9, 9-8 I think is that area, with a couple game winning drives, in which case I would be satisfied.

Then next year it’s playoffs or move on IMO.

And if no playoffs, probably only give Rhule one more year as well, 3 years is plenty to see if he’s capable. Kelly and Harbaugh both almost went all the way with shitty teams who needed serious rebuilding in only 1 season. Granted their stints did not last long at all.

I think at that point a big move will be made for a QB be it draft or trade.

While the Panthers didn’t give up too much to Sam what they are giving him is their time, and that’s worth a lot. At some point Rhule is basically betting his future and success outside of drafting and developing a future franchise QB which is why I think a big move will be made is Sam busts. It’ll be time to get serious.

Yep. If Darnold isn't the answer, I think we're done dumpster diving at QB. Teddy was decent and we moved on quickly. I still have hope we'll do the same with Darnold if he proves not to be the answer.

Calling this critical is a pretty big stretch. He's just stating the obvious.

Calling this a thread worth creating is also a big stretch.

(and putting up a definition of the word "critical" as if that explains anything is pretty weak)

    • Thank you, I’m hoping Bryce, Canales, and this new Oline works out. If Bryce becomes a franchise QB then even regardless of our record I will be very happy.
    • Thanks to BC's versatility and the addition of Nijman as a swing OT, the costs we have spent on the OL may save us a roster spot.  First, Brady Christensen has played OT and OG for Carolina, and he has always been a notch below average, according to PFF.  Last season, they talked about giving him looks at center, but his injury prevented that from happening.   Most of his experience here is at G, but he also has swing OT abilities.  Nijman is an excellent swing OT, an important addition that gives us Ekwonu insurance and depth at both T spots.  If you consider Cade May has been mentioned as the new backup Center behind Corbett, then he also has the ability to play 3 positions.  Here is how you have solid depth three deep and you do so with better and fewer players.  In the past, the OL has been a madhouse when a lineman goes down--we had 2.  It seems we had someone new in the game every week.  The OL needs to know the system and they need to communicate.  If I were coach, I would carry 8 total OL on the 53-man roster, saving at least one roster spot, and I would feel confident that I had depth on three levels.  Here is what it would look like: (I would keep Zavala on the PS to begin the season--he needs it)  Green indicates a free agent addition
    • Nice to have a front office that actually is trying to address the o-line for once.
