Might as well start making a list cause if we pick in the middle/second half of the first round were the talent levels start to blend we’re probably going that way (obviously barring an off-season signing or an over producer in the roster)

I’ll add to this post as the year goes on, feel free to chip in

Still to early.
But 2 names I’ve heard from people that I’m going to keep my eye on is the kid at Bama and Washington’s LT

Evan Neal is 6-7.5 370lbs and is freakishly athletic.   He is probably going top 3 and (hopefully) out of our range but that kid is incredible

those aren't names.

Seriously, watch Cross, the kid from Miss St.  He has the tools.

Kenyon Green is the TAMU lineman, he will play against the South Carolina lineman Kingsley Enagbare, hopefully he doesn't play as poorly as Jackson Kirkland who looked kinda bad against the Michican guy earlier this year which seems to have dropped his draft stock. Green is possible to be OT2 this year after Neal, has played all over the A&M line and might be a solid first round pick.

Neal seems like a lock for the top five and I see the Panthers being better than that so maybe it's a good idea to focus on other guys but long season still.

    • This makes an interesting case for two awards: Best QB (We'll workshop the actual title) and MVP-Other.
    • new article " If they do opt to roll with the younger and cheaper options, the Panthers probably wouldn't bite on Moore. They've seen him get worse since trading him away, and virtually no one on the team was part of that decision or that era. Still, it would be hilarious to see Moore return home. It would also be a pretty solid addition, assuming the Bears ate some of the cost and/or it didn't require much capital to get him. A wide receiver room of Tetairoa McMillan, Jalen Coker, Moore, Xavier Legette, and Jimmy Horn Jr. would be nice." https://www.si.com/nfl/panthers/onsi/news/panthers-hilarious-landing-spot-unhappy-bears-wr#:~:text=It all looks like the, much capital to get him.
    • BTW - this was statistically the worst season of his career.  He had more yards even as a rookie.   DJ Moore Career Statistics (Receiving)   Year  Team Receptions Yards Touchdowns 2018 Panthers 55 788 2 2019 Panthers 87 1,175 4 2020 Panthers 66 1,193 4 2021 Panthers 93 1,157 4 2022 Panthers 63 888 7 2023 Bears 96 1,364 8 2024 Bears 98 966 6 2025 Bears 50 682 6 Total   608 8,213 41
