Little traded to Dolphins for 7th rounder

This was Greg Little's 3rd year with the team and he still looked lost at times like he was still a rookie 1st year lineman. Brady Christensen showed more improvement in half a training camp than Little did in 3 years with us. If he just was struggling I would have been cool with sticking with him and tryna make it work but I don't think he's improved on ANYTHING since he got here and that's the unacceptable part.

good. Now I can stop pulling for the guy.

Thats me as well, tho I stopped around week 9 last year. Fins have now traded for Isiah Wilson and Greg Little.....my god if not for stock piling 1sts and other primo draft picks, Ill call for the GMs' head on those two moves alone if I was a fin fan....joking.... Honestly love the effort and Id try my lotto luck on two young highly rated OLmen for an 7th dart.....(if I already 2 1st and 11 more draft picks coming up)

Weaknesses
  • Needs to work on core power and upper body development
  • Lacks force and power in down block
  • Too many inefficiencies in movements as run blocker
  • Initial hand strike as run blocker lacks tempo and pace
  • Waist bend with nose past toes at point of attack
  • Leaves feet behind after contact
  • Hand strength is very average
  • Races to predetermined set points
  • Impatient and chases rushers rather than waiting back
  • Gets bounced back into pocket by early rush charge
  • Below-average body control in recovery movements

They also projected his to go in the 2nd.

Next 4 tackles off the board:

Dalton Risner

Max Scharping

Trey Pipkins

Chuma Edoga

Needless to say LTs are hard to find.

    • He has attempted 8 shootout goals in his NHL career and made 1. He is among our worst SO guys on the entire roster in terms of career stats.
    • Against Miami, the Panthers were behind by 17 in the 2nd quarter facing a 4th - 5. Young completed a 21 yard pass and they went on to score 7 on that drive. Then in the 4th, down by 4, they faced a 4th - 5 and again, he completed a 17 yard pass and they went onto score a TD for the win. He also accounted for 2 of the 3 TD's.  As I said, he got them in that mess and no doubt, Rico gets credit as well, but missing on either of those 4th down conversions hands the ball over and results in 1 or 2 less TD's giving them a loss. As you said though, that's just a small quibble. The real question is how does the FO see it?  I am guessing they see it as something to build on. I think most peope here see it as a total loss and fully expect the FO to see it that way as well. Time will tell.
    • Kochetkov is just too streaky. TBD if Freddie is doing that too. Freddie is the more reliable goalie over his career. The Bussi kid looks like he could be a solid #2 eventually.  Just need to figure out the #1 guy. Same as almost every year. It's not talent, it's consistency and being able to step up in the playoffs.
