Yahoo Sports simulates the 2021 season via Madden

Yahoo Sports did their yearly Madden season simulation and the results were VERY surprising.  Carolina wins the NFC Championship on the back of a rejuvenated Sam Darnold who threw 36 TD passes, and CMC who set the NFL record for all purpose yards with over 2,800.

I know it means exactly squat, but I thought it was cool…

Wow.  Darnold is like a 70 overall lol.  I will definitely take that result though (except we win the Super Bowl instead of losing).

To be fair though, their simulation had Foles winning the Super Bowl last season.

He’s got an extra game now. If he stays healthy all year, he honestly has a decent chance along with Cook. They would still have to be healthy and playing great, but that extra game will likely lead to a couple of records being broken across the league this year.

Considering the history of RB's and those records, hard pass. Typically they get injured the next season after those record breaking years due to the extreme usage to get them.

While I don’t play Madden anymore. I would usually simulate the season just to see how the Panthers did. 
Even during a down year they always seemed to over achieve in the simulation. Wish some of that would rube off of the real team.
