Horn isn’t going to be prime Revis out the gates.  Not sure why people set these unrealistic bars for players.

he just needs to show us what he was drafted at 8.   Looks I’ll end up being a Horn defender…once y’all turn on him for not being something he shouldn’t be expected to be yet

mosts analysts said that Surtain was more NFL ready, while Jaycee had the higher ceiling.  We should definately expect some growing pains, and a good bit of those will be holding calls...he's a handsy kind of CB.  He's going to be very good in time.  Had the work ethic, the lineage, and boy of boy does he have the tools.

It's amazing how cocky some of our fan base is considering our overall losing record and three straight losing seasons.

I mean, I sure hope we're headed in the right direction but I'm sure not feeling cocky right now.

Yeah bad teams storm out of the gate every year. It could be us or it could be the Jets. Feels like a coin flip.

Highly likely that he spread it to the other WRs on the team, or other players/coaches. They are sitting in that WR room for hours on end daily breathing in the same air. A CB might have it as well. Just a matter of time before another Jets player comes forward with it imo. We might win a forfeit game week 1, and even if we don't the Jets are now down several key starters. Week 1 is looking extremely good for us.

I'm an optimistic and I have zero idea this year... it all comes down to the offensive line and Darnold, and no one being honest should feel overly confident about either of those until we actually see it on the field in games that count

    • The trade happened March 10th, a couple days after the combine where Young did little but show up with a lot of water weight. Even with scouting that cuts out all the interviews and private workouts or pro-days that come right after that. The Bears ended up with a good WR and the #1 pick while the Texans got a franchise QB. If the Texans wanted Young they could have jumped a spot so it smells like they knew who the Panthers' target was. They literally traded up to #3 after picking at #2. BS they wouldn't have gotten Young if they wanted him, the Bears could have traded to 2 and then down again for another haul. All the three way trade did was let Houston know what the other 2 where doing which made them think sitting tight the best option.  The rest is normal draft smokescreen. They all lie so much that when they do tell the truth it hard to believe. Hell every one was in consensus over Bryce on the Panthers and then sure as hell was not in a matter of months.
    • Was looking for a good breakdown of the scheme that Evero runs, and found this breakdown. Thought some of you may enjoy. Not certain how many teams are implementing this stuff, but I'm not mad that we are investing in the running game (no matter how boring it may be to play Fox Ball)
    • believed it was Tepper who spilled everything in a press conference regarding the potential 3 way trade with Houston and Chicago. IF Houston stayed or traded up to One, the Panthers were going to take whoever was available between the two. This scenario would have been better since trading up to Two wouldn't have required selling the entire farm and DJ Moore even if we still ended up with Bryce at Two. But anyways, "hindsight is 50/50" - Cam Newton
