It's just a pulled hamstring lol, season ending was never on the table

Worst case was 6-8 weeks. Sounds like it's just a minor strain and they are looking at 2-3 weeks out

That was just a question for all the doom and gloom people on here that were thinking that the Panthers were done for the season.

I'm not gonna get hopes up yet because I can easily picture them being asked "Are you thinking of putting him on IR?" and them saying "No," but meaning they aren't considering that until they get all the facts.

IR "is not the plan as of now."

I think I'll still hope for about a 3-4 week rest for him and a full recovery in that time.

Obviously I'd prefer he not be hurt.  However, having him miss three weeks is an excellent opportunity for us to find out if Chuba can be a bona fide NFL RB.  If Chuba can look like an NFL back, it will make it even easier for us to lighten the load on CMC when he returns.

The pro of these stupid TNF games is we have 10 days till Dallas, almost like a mini bye. Means he likely misses only 2 games against Dallas and Philly with plans to have him back for Minnesota.

The team not placing him on IR seems to indicate they also think he'll be 100% by that 3rd game. We saw last year they aren't afraid to shut him down till he's 100%.

It wouldn’t matter, even if they IR him they can activate him in 3 weeks due to new rules

    • https://x.com/4thand1show/status/1975274357174784272?s=46   saw this this morning and came to post something similar. I didn’t just love the team or the wins, I loved those dudes man. They put everything they had out there every Sunday. You didn’t see a rep where anybody on that field was low effort in that era, and if you did they were quickly sent packing.
    • …is Brycen Tremayne with 108 yards. Not sure what that tells us but I imagine it’s some sort of gumbo consisting of the following: - Bryce can’t push the ball downfield  - contrary to what many were saying this offseason, the wr still needs a lot of work.  - we need Coker back badly.  - Brycen is pretty good! Congrats to that young man! Curious to hear other’s read on it. Was a pretty surprised to see he had more yards than anyone other than Tet and thought that was symptomatic of our issues on offense.
    • I don’t think many fans would have guessed the Chiefs and Ravens would be where they are right now. Same goes for some surprise packages like the Colts, I’m not sure many would have put money on them being top of their division after five weeks. It’ll be interesting to see if this continues!   Not necessarily. The Chargers have lost both starting OL and their 1st and 2nd choice RBs. They fell apart against Washington. The Broncos have just beat the Eagles, so they’d be my favourite in that division, but they are still only one win ahead of the Chiefs. All the Chiefs need is a couple of results to go their way and they’ll be right in the fight for the AFC East. I think that division is going to be very close and probably not a 12 or 13 win division like predicted. Unless of course the Broncos kick on.
