Anyone who does not realize that Guard is our weakest position on the line, is not a full time fan.

Guard or center. Paradise isn't a great blocker by any stretch and I don't think he does a great job of calling protections either honestly, at least not well enough to justify his liability as a blocker.

Tell me why my idea is bad instead of just telling me it's a bad idea

While Tunsil would be a huge upgrade our problem is more so up the middle at center and left guard. In addition we have tons of salary cap space but we have some of out top players (Burns & Moore ) due for extensions. If Darnold continues ar his current trajectory he will also need to be renewed.

Now that we've got this Texans game out of the way they should have no reason to want to withhold him from us if given the right offer.

He was tossing Brian burns around last night like he was a ragdoll. We are 31st in pass block rating in the NFL.  Perfect storm?

If we're just going to draft a tackle next year anyway I don't see why not...

this is why I voted NO for the internet pipeline to Gastonia

I think a LT trade is more likely then people realize.

If we're at the trade deadline 1-2 games ahead of tampa with 1-2 losses, I feel we at least make an effort to fix the line.

Assuming darnold stays on track, he's worth 3 1sts on his own, we can afford to lose one, plus it would be a crap 1st anyway if we're playoff bound

Exactly. It's a calculated decision
