Royce is our current 3rd string back. Behind Chuba and Ameer (who was picked up just last week and still had a higher snap count than royce). Im sure they could & would find a better back to try and fill those big shoes.

Plus I don't see him getting a 5th. Maybe a 6th or 7th.

I’m just hoping for desperation on Titans end because they have the afc south but need to keep it.

Yeah for a team that relies on the run game as much as they do, they definitely should be looking for someone to try and fill that role to some degree. I don't know about them being desperate though, but do expect them to be looking.

Their main back up was App State great Darrynton Evans but he go hurt again last week and placed back on IR so they have Jeremy McNichols and Dontrell Hillard so they are for sure searching for something today.

It would have to be for a draft pick, their IR looks like a hospital ward and they really don't have the depth on the offensive side of the ball to make such a swap.  I thought we had a lot of injuries!

Baltimore was signing the likes of Le'Veon Bell and Devonta Freeman. New Orleans just had to trade for Mark Ingram. That tells me there isn't much to be had. Marlon Mack was supposedly shopped by the Colts but there's no way they trade him in the division to the only team that is a real competitor to win that division.

What was mark ingram trade for? A 2024 7th round pick. I mean im not saying we can't offload royce, I just expect them (Titans) to go after someone else. And definitely I don't expect a 5th round pick for Royce either.

They also likely traded for him because he is familiar with the playbook and it would be easier to get him ready to play because of that. Can't speak for baltimore and the many injuries that ate that rb room

    • If we don't extend him, there is no way another team would offer him more than a one year $10m prove it deal lol.
    • He isn’t but looking at what those guys are getting paid, paying him what he’s making now wouldn’t have been terrible, they should have and still should be looking at pairing some guys with brown to form a pretty dominant d line
    • The Bryce hate is nearly laughable.  He looked like garbage the first two games, but has really, really shown improvement and growth.  People who know football are taking notice.  Will Bryce ever be Arron Rodgers, Farvre, Manning or any other hotshot gunslinger?  No, but I think he is a smart football player who has survived a lot more than most other QB's would have after 2.5 years.  So long as this injury doesn't linger I think you will see legitimate growth over the next two years, with a big leap coming next season. Reich and Brown not working together, Duce causing trouble behind the scenes.  Starting WR's of Mingo and Chark.  No legitimate scheme for the OL.  Fitterer's general incompetence. An owner who was desperate for attention.  How did Zac Wilson, Mariota, Winston, Tribuski, Rosen, Lawarence, Fields, Jones, Pickett, and Richardson fair after 2.5 years?  We see what happens when the Texans have not given Stroud the support. The 2018 draft had great talent, they just needed to mature, hell we wasted two of the top three drafted that year.  Outside of Allen, Mahomes, Jackson, Burrow, or Drake Maye, I'm not sure I really would want any other 1st round QB drafted in the past 10 years? RELAX......  Bryce is our guy as we grow as a team.  The only other option I currently see is maybe a buy low draft pick on Drew Allar if he falls to the third round or lower. Bryce is going to be extended.  He won't get Prescott money which would benefit our team going forward.  A mid range extension like Darnold or Baker got may be just the thing this team needs to keep growing.
