How are you feeling emotionally?

I never turned on Cam, I saw the injuries and figured it was time to move on. Along with Luke and Smitty he’ll be one of my favorites.

But let’s not fool ourselves, Cam in 2021 playing behind our terrible line won’t be anything like other years, I doubt very seriously we will see much change on the scoreboard.

It can't be worse than where we are at with Darnold.  I need a reason to keep going to games, and this is it.

If nothing else, my 10 year old will get the see the magic Cam once brought when he is introduced.

I don't have unrealistic expectations, but in a season that has devolved as bad as this one, it's at least a dose of hope and nostalgia...

Not sure how to feel about this move to be honest.  Looks to be a PR stunt more than anything.  But I hope Cam balls out when he gets behind center because I don't want to think about the alternative.

At least I will get to see him out there with the good guys again.  May God have mercy on his soul.

I feel like when I was in elementary school and I woke up on the first morning of summer, realized I didn't have to go to school that day, opened my window saw the sunlight, heard the birds singing and breathed in that fresh country air. Euphoric!

But I am praying that it all works out for the best because I love Cam and the Panthers and a lot could go wrong but it doesn't have to if expectations are realistic.

    • Names I'd keep an eye on... Coby White,  Jalen Suggs, Amen Thompson  and Stephen Castle...  3 teams except Orlando has checked on Melo before and rumblings of sours getting rid of fox too. I'd think they think Melo and Wemby would make them nuclear out west.
    • Well he somehow had 12 preseason carries for not playing. He also has 20 carries in the regular season, not three. He has actually played in about 7% of the offensive snaps for this regular season(33% of the special teams snaps). This isn't stuff you have to make up, these are very easily referenced statistics, man.
    • It's not common for a RB to recover from two ACL tears in the same knee. It's fairly rare. You are correct that it isn't the career ender that it used to be but there is also the fact that we appear to have largely moved on with the additions of Dowdle and Etienne.  Dobbins is a very good example. He has basically missed 54% of his career regular season games since he came into the league in 2020. It will end up being 57% at the conclusion of this season. It's a big contributing factor to why he is on this third NFL team in 6 years. It's certainly possible that may be 4 by the beginning of next season. I would say there is very little chance that Brooks ever contributes in any meaningful way in Carolina. Possibly with another team but I am extremely skeptical of his future here because of those injuries and because of the roster.
