Cam looks and sounds different

really like it as well. his past ones were borderline unwatchable for me. but this was great.

i think he was humbled when he realized he wasn’t getting a nice contract through FA like he thought and had to settle for a ridiculous vet min…then again when no one signed him after released. probably had to open his mind a bit to get vaccinated, nothing wrong with that. i had to do the same. respect

i say this because he seemed very grateful and excited the panthers gave him another shot…”people keeping saying they were glad I took the Panthers back, but i am glad they took me back”.

and may favorite from the whole segment…”fortunately, my taco Tuesday was interrupted”.

even though i think this was more of a PR move by Tepper, and it’s unfortunate he will be thrown behind the worst oline in franchise history, i have no doubt this is not at all what it’s about for cam and he is going to give it his all.

i am hoping he can get that line to play better holding them accountable. would be nice if someone on this team started barking at them.

The good thing is, he doesn’t  have to do it all now. He just has to be competent   In 2020 in NE, he had to do it all as well

I love him dearly and yes I know we will have ‘good Cam’ ‘bad Cam’  but I’m glad to just have Cam

I’ll tell you something else, I don’t want my last memory, or his, to be that Monday night game at home against the Rams when he clearly  couldn’t move and the boos rained down. on him…more on Rivera for sending him out there.

if there is any justice in athletics, our guy will end this season winning a few games and giving a few more footballs away.

It’s supposed to be about joy and competing   It hasn’t been that way in awhile  here’s to its coming back

im so happy. Hope is helluva drug

I watched his press conference and then that video on his YouTube channel.  I was impressed with his press conference.  My 1st thought was that he looked like he has aged 10 years in the past 2.  Also, he sounds different.  He mentioned several times it was not about him. He sounds more at peace with things.  He talks about being spiritual...a lot of people do, but this sounds different than before.

He sounds like he is still playful Cam, but something seems different.  How many players would return to the team who cut him like the Panthers did?  He seems so at peace with it.  This is weird in a good way.  I really hope his shoulder is good.  I want this move to be great.

Love the perspective. We need more positivity in the world.

It was the single most impressive press conference he's ever given. I agree with EVERYTHING you said, and I'm praying for the last part.

I mean, I know what you mean, but you have to have at least a B.A. in the language of Cam to understand what the hell he's saying with 100 percent clarity. But, he sounds positive.

Like I said on Twitter in so many words, let's hope that his game has evolved like his apparent growth and maturation as a man.

We got to see Can grow and mature in front of us but in my opinion he has always been one decent guy. He did tons for the city of Charlotte and the communities around when he was here before and served as a great role model as well. Kids loved him and he out smiles on their faces every damn time he saw one. I witnessed that a few times in person when there were no cameras around. He was one of those Panthers that I personally felt love for as a human being. I know he had some tough times in his personal life as we all do but he still put on a smile for the fans especially the kids and that meant the world to see. He was and still is also my 12 year olds favorite player. Hell, he has been since my kid was like 5 years old.

I so want to see him finish this season successful but I worry about him behind this line. The sentimental person in me wants to see him get back his old form and lead this team a few more years then retire a Panther. He is on any Panthers Mount Rushmore for sure. He has to be. I don't honestly see how any Panthers fan couldn't love him just by his presence he brings and what excitement and joy he brought to the kids at the games alone. Screw the other QB's, I may sound crazy but I just want Cam back and healthy and throwing some good passes to some open receivers then see him make all the guys around him on the field hand out footballs and smile. He is a leader and led by example. I don't give a damn if he had a day when he threw 4 ints, he was still Super Cam to my boy and for that I love the dude like he was my own family.

They have their… ehhh, reasons…

    • Why? AI already taking jobs, running up power bills, drinking all the water and just bad for the environment but hey lest try to shoehorn another useless way to use it.
    • I'm going rogue in R1 but there's so much confusion around us. Last year, we were going Walker or Williams and caught folks off guard with TMac. The previous year we LOVED Legette and it was no surprise when his name was called. This year, I think we nail three areas that weren't totally addressed in FA.  R1 - Kayden McDonald Full disclosure, I want Thienemann here, but think he goes before 19. Some might see an "overdraft" but McDonald unlocks so many people on our D. Having a DT the caliber of McDonald let's Lloyd, Wallace and the newly drafted Hill flood the offensive backfield. Also opens up Moehrig and our EDGES to eat. Lastly, it also removes all the pressure on DB to be the primary facilitator in the trenches and A'Shawn will be missed. I don't care about Turk. McDonald is the only true DT worth of a R1 grade and Morgan seals up our trenches here w/ a kid from a blue blood school. R2 - Anthony Hill Jr *trade up*  I love JRod, but think a smart team takes him at the end of R1 (Seattle, NE w/ two d-minded coaches). Hill, Jr is a beast and lost in the shuffle with all the Styles/Allen/Rodriguez hype. He and Lloyd with DB and McDonald up front and flanked by Scourton/Phillips is nasty.  R3 - Hecht/Lew/Center du jour Let's stop the madness with ignoring this position in the draft. We need one and should start normalizing the capital invested in our OL with someone on a draft contract. He won't need to start day 1, but I think the right selection will push for starter reps. R4 - Bud Clark Not sure if he's here in R4 where we pick, but would fit the "type" of FS/roamer that we need opposite Moehrig and Ransom. Allows us to run 3-safety looks and really keep teams guessing with personnel packages. R5 - Kendrick Law The kind of WR we need. IDK if he's any different than Horn, Jr or Metchie but Law could be a dart throw that brings a deep threat to our WR corps I'm guessing one of the R5 picks is used to move up in R2 along with a '27 day 3 pick.   Post-draft, I sign Njoku to bring in a vet at TE. I'm also keeping my eyes open for pre-week 1 team cuts for a young CB that we could bring in to maybe plan for Mike Jack's departure next year. Flame away.... I know the McDonald pick will not make people happy.
