They are baked because we haven't spent 60 million yet.  We've spent 42 million.  We are committed to spend 18 next year.  He's trying to say we've spent 60 million over two years.  We haven't.  We've spent or committed to spend 60 million over three years.

We're going to spend more yet since our starter for next year is not going to be Darnold.

I just don't like when people say things that aren't true to generate buzz.

Meh, irrelevant sports expert that pumps out more unreadable insights that has been discussed on the Huddle for weeks.

There are too many places to get good Panther content and not crap produced by a dinosaur working at PFT dreaming of their glory days when there weren't better options readily available on the internet.

Summed up nicely.  Hopefully lesson learned.  I think there was a logical decision to release Cam.  At that point in time.  Same for the TB and Darnold signing.  But damn it does look incredibly stupid now.

If they had kept Asswater and drafted Fields that would have probably been the best move. I think despite the fans best intentions, the team listens to us a little too much LOL.

This group of Huddlers was gloom and doom for the past month and probably rightly so--how did a good game by the OL and 9 plays from Cam change that?  Now we are talking playoffs--what a roller coaster of emotion most Huddlers willingly board. It is like watching a crying baby suddenly start laughing because someone makes a funny face.

I'm sure it has a lot to do with how incompetent the team looked for the last month - and all of a sudden came out with one key change and beat the piss out of the team that had the best record in the league. Before you hit the quote button and point out that the other team was without their MVP level QB and best WR, I'll say I know it is an overreaction for sure, but forgive fans for wanting to be excited since we haven't been in a long time.

Totally agree here. I will add to this.  I actually think it was 3 things:

1. The Cam Factor as mentioned. Nothing more to say.  

2.  PJ gets lost in this but I think he gave the offense a couple wrinkles that allowed effectiveness between the 20s.

3.  The biggest liability on offense was not on the field.  I had doubts about Sam but gave him the benefit of the doubt in the beginning.but Yesterday proved this experiment was a failure.  
 

Yes, AZ was without a star QB yesterday, but we have been hamstrung without a functioning QB all season.

      To kick this up, The Athletic has a really comprehensive piece out where pretty much all QB questions are addressed. It is an extensive exercise.  This is a dense write up with a lot of column inches used, about the Jets and Murray and Reich, all this stuff.. then it goes to backup QB and there is Dalton.  I am pasting that part: As for Dalton, Reich is installing the offense he was trying to run in Carolina in 2023 before he got fired, and Dalton was with the Panthers then; he’s an ideal option as a veteran backup to replace Taylor. Reich said this about Dalton in 2023: “The way he's throwing the football, the way he works through progressions, the way he handles the operation. … Since day one (when) he walked in the door, I'm like, 'This guy is starter-worthy.' You guys know I've said that all along. He's, in my opinion, one of the best 32 quarterbacks in the world.” ——— That’s true love lol. I never heard any of this. Pretty crazy I think, considering how the year went.   Anyway the dream is not dead. .

      The Seahawks traded for wide receiver/returner Rashid Shaheed at the trade deadline. He proved to be a key acquisition. Shaheed returned a punt and a kickoff for touchdowns in the regular season and had a 95-yard kickoff return in the postseason. Shaheed, though, is scheduled for free agency. So, the 12 games he played, including the postseason, might be the extent of his time in Seattle. Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Shaheed and the Seahawks are not close to an extension, and the expectation is that the two-time Pro Bowler will hit free agency. Shaheed has 153 receptions for 2,243 yards and 12 touchdowns in his four-year career to go along with three punt return touchdowns and a kickoff return touchdown.
