I've been stuck on the same thing...  I dont get the timing at all, and would definitely suspect it had to do with some type of internal struggle.  They could've realistically made this decision weeks ago, and if we were sure of it (as we should have been) after Miami, why wait until the Sunday of our bye week?  A Sunday?  I just don't get it.

Me too, but should have been done earlier. Obvious when Robby went off about routes on the sideline that something was drastically off.

      When we have everyone playing like they should, we can win the Cup. That has been the biggest problem when we get to the playoffs, but this year seems to be fixed mostly. We could have had multiple if we had done this in the past.

      Here we go Bryce Stan’s you should love this. Hell it may be one of you.  It has every cliche excuse and then some.  Unintentionally hilarious my limit was reached when he said Bryce had it hard because four play callers.

      Luke goes in to the specifics of what he looked to accomplish in joint practices.  Basically they may work with someone on the opposing team to stress something they feel is a weakness in their own game in a different way that can be done with someone they are familiar with. That they can have predetermined stresses but since neither wants to get injured and it has absolutely no bearing on anything there is not the level of concern that would be in a preseason game.  He would also even chat with opposing OC.   It seems like an interesting nuance among the vets and savy pros.
