Scott Fitterer

Was about to say this, everyone was so quick to kiss his ass and name him best GM in the league. Now we are stuck with a 19 million dollar backup QB, still have no O-line, and traded away our 2nd and 3rd this year in the process. Now he can sit back and watch the Jets scoop up a nice O-lineman with our early 2nd we could’ve had.

Yeah, I still remember when you were strutting around at 3-0 talking about the playoffs like we were already in them then went wild with Madden trades presumably trying to recreate the Legion of Boom only to yield the Legion of Doom whole leaving us nearly devoid of draft capital next year.

So to you I say the same as to Matt Rhule

Looking at all the picks the Seahawks have foolishly given away in the last few years makes me wonder about Fitterer and what he's done so far in Carolina.  I'm certainly not convinced he is essential to the Panthers future turn around.  Hopefully, Tepper isn't emotionally attached to anyone associated with this train wreck.

Like I keep saying... whoever thought signing Pat Eflein and Cam Erving to 3 year deals on the first day of free agency needs to go. Also, it's not good if the GM allowed something that obviously atrocious to happen. I would be like "Mr. Rhule in what way, shape or form are these players even back ups"... "What tape has ever shown that they are worth being on an NFL roster"?

Exactly.  What have they done since lucking into Russell Wilson and Bobby Wagner?  They haven't been able to build anything since those 1st 2 Super Bowl appearances.

I think Fitt has made good moves and I am confident he can find us good players like he already has.  But it clearly is coaching we lack.  Guys on both sides of the ball making constant mistakes and playing unsound football. With this secondary how do receivers get wide open?  Blown coverages, guys not being where they belong, crucial penalties. The whole team plays soft too often.  The offense isn't tough at all. Running teams have to be tough and clearly we arent.

    • I think i like the Oregon Safety better
    • Do you see the vision?  As of now our Carolina Panthers don’t have an identity. We are not an offensive powerhouse and on defense we only started getting it together towards the end of the year last year. In my opinion we are much closer to having an incredible defense that scares the daylights out of people. I say the answer is simple and we fully commit to that possible identity.    Emmanuel McNeil Warren (E man)  This guy is like a shark lurking around ready to attack anyone. Fearless. He is easily a top 20 talent in my eyes, and the only reason he isn’t more talked about is because he’s from Toledo. Do your due diligence as panther fans and watch his tape I beg you. Once you’re done watching let me ask you this, if you dropped E - Man into the strong safety spot on the Buckeyes, he isn’t being talked about as one of the best prospects we’ve seen in some time given the skill set you see with this guy? I think so. Put his name on the card and turn it in at 19.    Jacob Rodriguez  High effort, High energy, High IQ guy that flies around the field. We all know Jacob at this point. My only concern is he’s a little bit too good and I’m not sure he makes it to us at our pick in the second. With the additions of Jacob and E- Man I think our defense goes to top 5 in the league. We would have a duo of linebackers that rival anything we’ve had in our past. I’m not a GM so I don’t know what the possible answer could be, but if there’s a way we can comfortably trade up in the second to secure this guy I think we find a way to do it.    Spend the rest of our picks fixing the O - line.    Thoughts Panthers fans? Who’s the ideal duo for yall?
    • OL is arguably much more important to the success of a young QB. (Or any QB)
