How many more losing seasons could you endure?

I'm just going to have to sit through all of the losing seasons. I hope there won't be many, but there will be some, even in the best of situations.

Becoming a Panther fan is a lifetime thing for me. This is it.

For me, and all the others like me, though -- we deserve better than this crap.

I have also respected Browns fans.  Admire them sticking with their team through all that misery.  I used to work with a guy who was a Browns fan...he told his son he should pick another team...but he stuck with the Browns.  I guess the Panthers are still to young to have that kind of loyalty.

I am not a happy fan and think Tepper has made a lot of mistakes.  He was not who I wanted for an owner.  We got who the NFL wanted for his money.  He needs to start taking some advice from some smart football people.  This team needs a reboot...ASAP.

yea...reboot the reboot...

You said a lot, but you really didn't answer the question...but, from what you did say, I can assume that you'll endure whatever you must?

Don't know how much the younger generations are interested in football.  Think it is probably waning with each passing 'gen' group. Losing it's place as the number one sport is very possible and probable.

Just zero sort of evidence or data or study that supports this claim. I’m actually a teacher (8th grade) and football is by far I mean by far the most popular sport still with this generation. Like, not even close.

I think everyone needs to take some sort of a chill pill. Things are bleak right now but acting like we’re the next Lions or Browns is still very premature. There’s so much parity in the league right now, have a few good drafts and find a good coach and you can become a contender quick.

The Rhule experiment has been a disaster. I don’t think that means Tepper can’t pick good coaches. Hiring coaches is largely a crapshoot, every team is going to miss on a coach at some point. Let’s hope Tepper realizes his mistake, fires Rhule after this year and finds a better coach this time.

Been pulling for Panthers, NCSU and Carolina Hurricanes all my life.  You always stick by your team.  It makes you savor the good year years more.  Some of you have been spoiled pulling for UNC and Duke basketball.  Most teams suck more often than not very few are great consistently.

So many kids play soccer now compared to the ancient times (1970's).   Parents are worried about injuries in football.

That may be one of the reasons that 7 on 7 is becoming more popular in high school since there's no tackling.  Also why the NFL rules are slowly edging towards touch football - too many injuries (and lawsuits) from the old, super violent way.

    • Dude, I think I might be having Jarvy withdrawals... I ripped the sleeves off of all of my t-shirts in my sleep last night. Every bite of my Alpha-Bita cereal spelled Seth, this morning. And, I took 7 naps before lunch. I'm losing it guys! Jarvy's Jaunty Band of Jaggoffs are getting more play than he is... smh Team Canada doesn't treasure Jarvis the way he deserves. He should take his band down to Liechtenstein, get a bag of passports, and start his own Olympic team! The raw animal magnetism of Jarvilicious will bring in a handful of NHLers on its own. And, since the IOC believes in collective punishment, he could have his pick of the rookies. Then, just fill out the rest of the roster with the maple blooded great white northerners who couldn't make the top squad. Can't trust this assembled awesomery to just any old Liechtensteinien with a clipboard and a whistle. Gotta bring in a legend worthy of this gold medal gambit. A hockey HOFer with the balls to buck the system and the aura to match our maverick. Huere geil, Vaduz!!! 2030 Gold Medal guaranteed!
    • Tennessee isn't trading a QB on a 2nd round contract that has starting experience.  That's bad business.
    • OT is the top priority as it is both an immediate and future need.  I wouldn't be past trading up slightly to get the guy we want.  You need that rookie contract right now.  Icky is a dead 17.5 million for the season.  Morton is 20+ mil for the season, Hunt is 20+ mil for the season.  There needs to be forward thinking regarding the future.   Caleb Lomu is a left Tackle, he's a solid prospect, he may be the best pick for us now and in the future.  I would seriously consider cutting Hunt after 2026, and let Lomu and Icky fight for the LT job, loser moves inside.  Icky's future may be at guard after this injury anyway.  If Damien Lewis keeps up his level of play he will need to be paid sooner rather than later.  Yosh and BC can be our top two depth OL at an affordable price.  You will need to look at OT again in 2027. Getting an EDGE for the sake of getting an EDGE outside of the top 10 is pretty risky.  I wouldn't be against eyeing someone like Cashius Howell, Derrick Moore, or TJ Parker in the 2nd (even if we trade a future pick to move up) or DDS in the third. I'd love to see us try to sign both Leo Chenal and Matt Millano in FA.   Chenal for the blitzing element we are missing from our LB corps and Millano for his elite coverage.  They could both work in tandem.  Remember, our FO has deep ties to both KC and Buffalo. I love thinking about the draft, but until Free Agency hits, we are clueless.  Looking at the strength of FA and the draft, OL is priority #1, LB #2, and EDGE #3.  We know what happens to Bryce when protection falls apart.
