When you take a QB who has been in a bad situation with a shitty Oline...and put him on a new team with the very same issues, the blame is not on Sam.

Tepper needs to fix this now...waiting another year is insane.

PLENTY of blame to go around for everyone.  It can be true that Sam sucks, Rhule sucks AND the o-line sucks.

This is what I've been saying.

It's possible that Sam was salvageable, but not by putting him into the exact same situation that made him bad.

I’ve never bought that because they Jets didn’t ruin him.  He was the same guy at USC.  It’s in his QB DNA and that never changes IMO.

Pavlov's dog's come to mine.  You shock them enough they'll jump at anything.

Pavlov simply rang a bell when they were about to eat.  Then the bell caused them to salivate with no food--so this is a good example.  Imagine a bell ringing every time Sam got sacked.  Now ring the bell when the ball is snapped and there is no pressure.

Thank you!  Sam is scared and so would anyother qb be behind this line.

Cam doesn’t play scared.

That’s not to say he’s played WELL behind this OL, but he sure as hell don’t play SCARED.  Dude has always been a warrior playing behind the crap OL’s this organization has constantly trotted out in front of fun him and he has paid for it in the currency of blood, injuries, and concussions.

Yeah we knew why he was the way he was and gave him a worse off situation.  I don't get it.

It shows that they REALLY felt they built a workable OL with Cam+Elflein+Paradis+Miller+Moton.  They claim it to be a process but if they wanted to set their Sam investment up for success, they needed to do more than that (and a few preseason snaps).  It just makes no sense.

On most NFL teams, quarterbacks get their offensive linemen nice gifts around the holidays. In the Panthers’ case, the linemen should be sending Darnold and Cam Newton presents, accompanied by a note that begins: “Sorry about last Sunday. … And the Sunday before that.”

If this is the case then we should stop giving Scott Fitterer a pass. Fielding the worst oline the league has possibly ever seen should result in a thorough house cleaning.

Somehow I have seen people saying that Miami's line is worse than ours, but I just do not see how that is remotely possible. There is maybe 1 guy on our line that would start on another team.

A top-to-bottom cleaning and scrubbing was due for this organization in 2018, but Chubby Tepper didn’t have the “brass balls” to it.

And he’s continued to half-ass it with half-measures ever since making everything worse and worse.
