I feel like we have held him out of games just being overly protected of one our better game changers.. I understand he is a labeled as running back but he is also likely are 2nd best WR.. typically I don’t hold a lot a value in running backs but is he more!!!! With that said if we are truly thinking of trading him in the off-season we should have played him more if in fact he was only being held out to protect our long term asset.. now you want to trade him ? What’s his off-season trade value?

I'm not overly surprised by this. I've long expected that the Panthers were going to look for ways to offload perceived luxury players in order to try and gain much needed draft assets.

Rhule needs to rebuild the line and fix the QB position to save his job. There's going to be some serious wheeling and dealing this off season.

Is there an article stating this?  Seems like its just someone's opinion.

That being said, we probably will listen to offers.

It says "per Joe Person" but yeah, without an official tweet from him or an Athletic article I'm taking this with a grain of salt.

    • I don’t know about floor in a team defense sense but we needed more.  The floor that I am familiar with is our QBs floor and it is so low that every other part of the team needs to be beefed up.     We tried our best to improve these things and I think we did improve the defense and we at least kept the offense  from sinking from no LT.  And ostensibly helped the receivers too.   So we kept a window open that we at least have a chance to improve our record by a game of two.  Which would probably give us the division.

    • Yeah. I am one of. those who think a JAG RB can eat with really good blocking. (Brooks is most important in my mind, in tbe passing game and that is what we’ll lose without him)  There are a lot of aspects to this. The big one that caused us to struggle is Young and his arm scared no one.  Best back, best blocking still cannot defeat a really good defense if they are not forced to respect the pass.  And teams did not.    But, a strong OL and running game Can get us over against weaker defenses.  And if Bryce still doesn’t scare anyone we can still win some games. Like last year  So it is really important to tend to that OL.   Get that straight and see if in his fourth year he can finally back defenses off. That is what if is all about this year to me, on the Bryce front.
