Panthers Bringing back Rhule. Planning to start OC search next week

Sadly if this is true, I so want Rhule fired as to me that scenario is inevitable if not now then next season …. So do we really think Rhule will bring in a OC prominent & good enough that he could be an interim head coach if Tepper decided to fire Rhule during the season ??

Rhule has to know he’s on the hot seat so now he has to decide to bring in a bonafide OC who could help Rhule maybe save his job but also be a threat to take his job or will he go with another dark horse who won’t be a threat but hopefully be good enough??

UGH I hate how next season already feels like a lost season to me. I’ll be hopelessly  optimistic like I always am but with the track record of college coaches not succeeding in the NFL and the sh*t show we’ve been witnessing I doubt Rhule is going to be the one who breaks the mold.

This. No QB, no O line, no CMC

No one good will take that situation.

All addressable in the offseason…this team is a lot closer to winning than people here know

A defense that will almost certainly finish top 2 is an amazing accomplishment

I think there would be a lot more Jon Grudens get exposed if they really started pushing on Snyder and they know it.

I have no doubt about that, nor do I that offering to shave an employees legs for her or a random racist shout out is even the tip of the iceberg in NFL ownership ranks.  JR just wasn't part of the real club.

    • The third is about where I see him and would take him. I’m not using any of our 1st two picks on a QB. I want the panthers to focus on building up the def or bringing in a playmaker with those picks
    • Russ worked.  I still vote Doug Flutie as a competent, sometimes really good starter when he came back from the CFL - and I maintain, I think he could’ve been that without going to the CFL, part of why he didn’t was because of the stigma the NFL has against smaller QBs to begin with.  But, both Flutie and Russ had above average to excellent athletic traits - be it arm strength, strength, elusiveness, etc.  and Kyler could’ve been right up there with him if he cared about football as much as he does Call of Duty and streaming.     the difference between those guys and Bryce?  Again, Bryce has almost zero desirable athletic traits you would want in an NFL QB.  He is below average in every category. And then to boot, as you said, if you’re below average in EVERYTHING physical, you HAVE to be damn near the best mentally and processing - and he proved to be even subpar in that category.  All of that to say, I will NEVER understand what anyone in our organization saw in him to not only draft him, but to trade up to do so and then give him 3 whole years to stink it up.
