so he can move the team.

Rhule is executing exactly what he wants done longterm.

Drive the fan base and season ticket holders away

Ask for new stadium

City says no

NFL approves and he moves this team somewhere else

He has the money to buy out Rhule...he also has the money to outlast PSL owners jumping ship

I do not buy this, but would love to hear your explanation of why he would do it?

NC is an ascending state. Charlotte is an ascending state, most players like living/working here.

It's just never made much sense to me to move the team, unless all you care about is being the wealthiest owner in the league, and need a HUGE new stadium to make you feel better about your nether regions.

    • Apparently CSW lost his starting job to Thornton last year. If he can stay healthy I bet Thornton keeps that NB position.
    • I member him staying after practices with only to see he was wearing heavy weight vest, one of his trademarks. He also put in 10 years, right? People forget he was the ST stud that called the snap and made sure everyone lined up right. He was one of the "glue" guys that bought his "lunch pail" to work.... He was a willing solider, all teams need a couple of them. He blocked for sooo many panthers RBs- Davis, lane, Williams, foster, goings and when there was huge injuries he took over the starter duties and had a couple 100 yard games. If you followed hoover, he took the perfect RB path cause he was just a slow heavy one himself....
    • Walker likely depends on a couple of things. What exactly did Dan promise him, to start with.  How much other interest he actually had for a starter job at high pay is another question. It isn’t outside the realm of possibility that he could stay on as a swing tackle waiting to take Moton’s spot when it opens.    I can’t get myself to consider Icky as a viable anything until we see him back on the field.     Hunt seems to be a team player and good guy but I don’t think he is worth what he is being paid. I have him tentatively earmarked for cap causality in the near future.
