Paying big money to a guy who has never played a full 16 games or even 15 games in his 9 year NFL career (and only 8 games last year), while playing one of the most physical positions in football would be an absolute disaster. I'm sure Rhule would do it though

I'm not a fan of this one. I'm hoping we WERE in because of Watson. I don't think this would be a good signing. It's imagining potential again. He only plays half a season. If we were a playoff team and I thought I could have him there then yes but for us? I don't like it. 

But it does depend on the contract.

Watson realizes how much of the public perceives him, he realizes he possibly will never make any money from endorsements. I would have been very disappointed had the Panthers gave him that regardless of pending litigation. He is 28 and 25 lifetime. Kirk Cousins is 61W 62L and 2 ties in his career. One person cannot do it by himself. My opinion is that a lot of incentives should be tied to a $40 million dollar a year contract,  however it’s not my money.
